12/16/38 Dr. Broudo's letter to EC:
DR. PHILIP HARMON BROUDO
316 Professional Building
Detroit
Now as to my other patient that I am very concerned about
Mr. [
1766] born son of Mr. [...] (deceased) born in Russia &
Mrs. [...] (nee [...]) living. Mr. [
1766] was born in
Chicago, Ill. In this case I cannot tell the patient about
my writing you about him because of family complications and
so I am going to have him in my office rest Room at the time
of your reading.
He has been subject to attacks for a few years about 5 I
think (he is not sure).
These attacks may come whether he is working hard or not.
They consist of stomach disturbance, circulation disturbance,
severe headache, sweating, & weakness. He has been to many
doctors & clinics and has had many different diagnoses all
the way from adrenal gland trouble, nerve tumor, sugar
disturbance and appendicitis.
At present he is convalesing from a case of grippe or some
respiratory infection and works part time. He still feels
weak and unable to go to his office for a full days work.
While in bed with this "Grippe" he had some very severe
attacks which came on at very frequent intervals even to the
extent of 3 in one day.
I am very anxious to have you give him a date before
Christmas if it is only possible.
The amount I owe in connection with the 1st patient I shall
take care of after the 1st of the year.
Most sincerely

Dear Mr. Cayce -
Through an oversight the letter sent you yesterday did not
have the enclosed check, so I am doing so now.
Very truly
