TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. Now as we find, there are rather specific disturbances which cause the distresses, and prevent the better physical functioning with this body.
4. These as we find are hidden in some manners, and the effects are such that at times it may be termed or called the conditions which arise from other than the sources which we find are indicated.
5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1768].
6. There having been, through external measures, conditions brought about which through the pelvic organs and the abdominal area made for scar tissue or adherence of tissue through the back portions about the kidneys; and this inflammatory force produces the disturbances that find expression through the attempt of the circulatory forces as related to the lymph and the activity of same, producing the distresses to all portions of the system through that pressure.
7. This in turn has affected the activity of the upper hepatic circulation, so that the fullness and the tendency for the swelling areas, the disturbances in the extremities of the body all arise from these unbalanced conditions through these pressures as arise primarily from scar tissue in the area indicated.
8. In the effects of these as produced upon the nervous system of the body, these become as exaggerated at times when there is the attempt of the system to create a balance.
9. Hence we have periods when the body feels very much better, and then those recurrent conditions of those reactory forces through the system as indicated. The great distress through headaches, sometimes nausea, the melancholia periods. All of these become a part of the general condition.
10. In the effects upon the organs themselves, - as has been indicated, the involvement is mostly to the hepatic circulation; though the effect naturally is also upon the balance of the heart's activity in the deeper blood supply or the relationships between liver and heart; as also to the respiratory system, sympathetically - though any of these at times appear to be the cause.
11. The sources as we find arise in the areas indicated.
12. Then, to make for helpful forces for the body, as we find:
13. First we would give that there should be sufficient of the relaxations osteopathically to make for the relaxing. Elisha T. Kirk - yes, that's the doctor. Make for a relaxing sufficiently that the drainages are set up. Over those areas between the kidneys and the lumbar and sacral, or covering most of these, we would first apply a combination of anything that will tend to RELIEVE the area, see? Laudanum and Aconite; three parts Laudanum to one part Aconite. THEN apply heat from heavy salt, HEAVY salt, see? This would relax the body. Let this remain on for twenty or thirty minutes, then bathe off in tepid water. THEN MAKE THE ADJUSTMENTS THROUGH THESE AREAS, see? and this should be done about twice a week.
14. Do these, making for the better eliminations by the use of the colonics AND the massage about once a month - these of the hydrotherapy treatments.
15. Also we would apply the low electrical vibrations from the Wet Cell Appliances, but used AS the Radio-Active Appliance; that is, to the extremities of the body, but in this manner: One day the copper applicator to the left ankle, the nickel to the right wrist. The next day the copper to the left wrist, the nickel to the right ankle; and the attachments altered this way each day, see? Use each day for thirty minutes.
16. Keep the diets for body-building but easily assimilated foods.
17. We will bring better conditions for this body.
18. Ready for questions.
19. We are through with this reading.
