2/08/39 EC's letter to [
1773]:
Dear Mrs. [
1773]:
Yours of the 2nd received - and had a special reading to get
for Sunday afternoon that was a check reading so wired you.
Do hope you will soon be feeling a great deal better Mrs.
[
1773]. Am most anxious that you do - for as said some how
have felt a special interest in you. We have three Mrs.
[
1773] - or each is spelled a bit different - and each of the
others have known for several years and think a great deal of
each of them so guess it is natural would feel drawn to you.
One, [
480], you possibly have heard of there in ... the other
[
1713] in ... - have known her many years in fact years
before she married Mr. [...].
But trust you find the suggestions help - and surely hope you
will feel that you were talking to one you can confide in.
For am surely hoping we can and will be of help.
Let me hear from you.
With all good wishes
Sincerely, [signed] Edgar Cayce
4/01/39 [
1773]'s letter to EC:
..., Mich.
Dear Mr. Cayce -
I am sorry to be so late in sending this letter with my
check.
Our house is in quarantine for scarlet fever and I only
learned this P.M. that the Board of Health would allow mail
to go out of the house as long as the person who is ill has
not been in contact with it.
As for myself - sometimes I think I am better - then again I
don't. I had a cold about a month ago that seemed to set me
back. Have been going to the osteopath regularly.
I don't think there are any questions in particular this
time. Just would like to know how you find my condition to
be now, as this is about the time suggested in my first check
reading for further instructions.
Hastily, [
1773]
(Mrs. [
1773])
