This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of March, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [1779], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, while there have been considerable improvements in the physical forces of the body, there is still a great deal of pressure left upon the system by the lack of the proper eliminations, - especially in the colonic irrigations, you see, and the removing of the pressure through the manipulative forces about the coccyx portion of the system.
4. This pressure tends to make for a NUMBING to the lower extremities, and SYMPATHETICALLY to the brachial area or to the arms and hands.
5. It is not as an arthritic nor even a neuritic nature as yet, but rather as a NUMBNESS - slowing the circulation through those portions.
6. Hence as we find:

There is the greater need for being more consistent with the colonic irrigations, - which should be given at least about every twelve days, or LESS IF there are the indications for the mucous from the stool. The number that should be taken would depend upon the reaction of the body. They should be taken until there is NO more mucous shown in the colonic irrigation or in the stool at the time of colonic irrigation.
8. Also we find that it would be well for there to be the sweat baths, but not too much of dry sweats, - as much from fumes AS from the dry sweat. In the fumes, use Tincture of Iodine one time, and Pine Oil the next time; using about a teaspoonful to the pint of water used for the fume bath, see? Then there would be the general rubdown. All of these may be given, of course, at the period the colonic is given.

10. (Q) Are two tablets of the Codiron each day sufficient, since the hemoglobin is still abnormally low?
    (A) As we find, the conditions of the system as related to the tonic or toning from the Codiron show that this is sufficient in the present.
    If there is the removing of the numbness and the tenderness along the lower portion of the rectal area, THEN we may increase these to three or four a day; but the system is at present absorbing all of the vitamine forces from same, as well as the iron and the cod liver oil, that it may, - with the conditions that exist.
    Then we would say, after the second colonic, begin with four tablets; taking them at the meal; two at one meal and two at the next meal, - whether morning, noon or evening meals. These may be selected, but be CONSISTENT and don't skip about with them!
11. (Q) Am I following the first Reading now correctly?
    (A) This is doing somewhat better, as has been just indicated.
    Do these and we will find results; being mindful of the diets as has been indicated for the strengthening or assimilating forces of the body.
