TEXT

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name; and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions that he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over the years from present - " - '30 - very hopeful - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called, [1792].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire that such may become a helpful experience, - if it will apply those conditions which are pointed out.
5. Not only the faults are given, then, but the virtues. Not only the weaknesses but the strengths may be given, if the entity will make use of same.
6. Know this: Each entity enters a material experience for a purpose; not accidentally, not by chance. But life and its expressions are purposeful. And each experience is that the entity may become more and more a channel through which the knowledge and the application of Creative Forces may be made manifest in a material world.
7. These, then, are the urges latent and manifested from the innate or the indwelling forces outside of material sojourn, as well as those latent urges which arise in the emotions of the body in the entity's mental self in the present; but irrespective of what the entity has done about same. These, as we find, are what might be said to be a combination or a composite of them all.
8. Then it behooves the entity to know what IS thy standard, what is thy ideal, and to determine within self as to whether it is spiritual or of the creative nature, or merely self and the ego of self, and the gratifying of self.
9. These are choices. For the will is the greater motivating factor, and the choice must be by self. For today there is set before thee good and evil, choose thou.
10. As indicated, the entity is one naturally interested in political movements, in those that are "IN" and those that are "OUT" in the ruling forces of ward, county, state, nations, lands or what not.
11. One somewhat given to oratory, with the ability then to move others by the very impulse of that with which it is well acquainted.
12. It is easily influenced in those things that are of a dramatic or of a scientific nature.
13. Hence we find those influences or forces that are necessarily combative one to another.
14. One easily discouraged; TOO easily discouraged from those things in which choices have been made; fearing oft what others will say, and thus influenced in some matters oft that are not according to dictates of the own conscience.
15. The entity is oft in the position of being well liked by both sexes, and has an influence in any group or any association or activity - if the entity chooses to have such.
16. As to the astrological aspects, we find these are as influences not because the entity was born under Pisces or the Ram or ANY of those phases of the zodiacal signs as termed; but such influences are rather the RESULT of what the entity has done ABOUT its activities in the astrological aspects, and not beyond the choice of the entity EVER.
17. Hence again might that injunction be given the entity not to be too easily discouraged. Brace up! KNOW in what ye have believed and do believe, but know WHO is also the AUTHOR of such. For life IS real, life IS earnest, and the grave is NOT the goal!
18. For ye are WHAT ye are because of thy use of the opportunities that are given thee respecting creative forces and influences in thy experience.
19. For the Giver of life, the Giver of all that is, is not a respecter of persons, but of the application that the entity, the individual makes or applies as to his abilities, - or the use to which he puts same.
20. Thus may ye grow in grace, in knowledge, and the MATERIAL life as well as much of the mental experience becomes an outgrowth, a result of that ye have applied of the spiritual forces in thy relationships to thy fellow man.
21. Then not thy will but "Thine, O Lord," be done in thee, through thee, day by day.
22. Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, astrologically become the aspects of the mental and those innate forces from same.
23. High mental abilities, high activities in those things pertaining to leadership, pertaining to the beautiful, pertaining to things of a mechanical or etheronic nature as to the vibratory forces of any nature, - these become a part of the entity.
24. As to its application of the laws pertaining to same, that are of a creative nature, - upon such depends the development or retardment of the mental AND material entity in any experience!
25. As to the appearances in the earth, - in this entity we find them far apart, and few - as would be considered by comparison to many. Hence the very strangeness the entity finds in associations oft with others, - the very strangeness of those effects had upon the entity by laudation and praise, as well as fault-finding.
26. The inclination then is to take "out" on others those little grudges or hates, - and such should be eliminated from the entity's self.
27. The entity should refrain from making or drawing comparisons as to others and thus belittling self. Such inclinations should be held rather, not in such a manner as to become stumblingstones, but - he that would be the greatest among his associates will be the servant of all, - a helpful force in his experience in every manner.
28. Be rather "done" by all, than ever taking advantage of ANY individual! For he that overcometh shall wear the crown, and not he that climbeth up some other way, - for he becomes the thief, the robber to self of those glories, the knowledge, the peace that comes from making THY will one with Creative Forces - which is love!
29. Love, as thou hast seen, as thou hast dreamed, - yet so little have ye practised same!
30. Before this we find the entity was in the Carthaginian and Parthenian land, during those fields of activity through the lands of the Chaldeans and the Persians - in the periods of Xenophon's activities.
31. The entity acted in the capacity then of a director, what would be called today an engineer of the manners, the means in which there were the devising of means for making sieges to the walled cities more expedient; overcoming those needs for long periods of waiting, by the abilities of undermining, by the abilities of making waterways, by the abilities for scaling and making the attack against the walls.
32. Then the entity was in the name Heroditoser.
33. Hence we find that such channels become those in the present through whihc the activities may be wrought to find harmonious associations and relaxations for the entity; in such fields of mechanical activities, or the application of the elements pertaining to influences from nature's storehouse in whatever form, - whether steam, electricity, water, or the elements of air.
34. Very well chosen, then, are the experiences of the entity in the present. And if there is put away those little factors that have made and do make for the little upsets as to disputes, as to finding fault, as to bringing about contention, we will find these may be worked or determined into channels in which the entity may become a leader, a director, as one who may counsel, who may teach, who may make for those channels through which others, too, may find a means for bringing into material manifestations things and conditions that make the material surroundings for individuals a more pleasant undertaking.
35. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land during the earlier periods of activity under Hashapataput; who made for the connecting of the waterways in the Egyptian land, to make for the better accessibility to outside forces.
36. There we find the entity, in the name Hel-oiten, was a counselor to that Queen of the Egyptian land; making for those conditions which in the early portion made material developments, but when turned to self-aggrandizement, self-praise, brought detrimental and deteriorating forces not only to self but to its own peoples.
37. As to the application of such experiences in the present: Study to show thyself first approved unto God, and thine own conscience. Not that God hath need of thy efforts, but thy fellow man HATH need of thy efforts to show him the way toward God!
38. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, during those periods when there were those determining as to whether there would be the application of the laws of the children of One, or the sons of Belial in turning into destructive channels those influences of infinite power as were being gained from the elements as well as from what is termed spiritual or supernatural powers in the present.
39. These we find the entity wavered oft between the choices; and when the destruction came about, by the use of those rays as were applied for the beneficial forces, the entity was found among those who had misapplied the abilities.
40. In the application then of self from those experiences, as Entezor, - we find that the influences of the atomic energies, of the electrical forces as of every nature, become an instrument for activity in which good OR bad may come.
41. The entity is drawn to same, - but what will ye do with same? Will ye use same for beneficial or beneficient effects, for helpful influences, or for destruction?
42. ONLY for helpful influences apply thyself! Not merely as for conveniences, but for those things that may have life-giving forces also.
43. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
44. First, know, as indicated, as to whether thou hast chosen Him as thy guide, thy way of knowledge, of truth, of light. Or hast thou chosen thine own?
45. KNOW where ye stand with thine own conscience, thine own God, thine own Savior! Walk in the light that maketh for a perfect understanding, and as ye deal with thy fellow man measure out that as ye would have measured to thee again.
46. For as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy Maker!
47. Ready for questions.
48. (Q) What is my life's work? What am I best fitted to do?
    (A) Anything that would have to do with electricity, or its phases, and ESPECIALLY as would be applied to healing influences or the creating of that which would bring same.
49. (Q) How can I go about to accomplish this end?
    (A) Only in the manner as has just been indicated, in first knowing self, what you want to do, and where thou art headed. Only as ye are guided by Creative Forces may such become constructive in thy daily experience.
50. (Q) Why is there a string attached to everything I attempt to do?
    (A) It is within self, and not without. Study that which has been given, and ye will see; that if ye build resentment, if ye build inharmonious forces, there are always strings.
51. We are through for the present.

2. 1/27/39 Mr. [1792]'s ltr. to EC:
   Mr. Edgar Cayce, Virginia Beach,
   Dear Sir:
Your appointed day Feb. 11, 1939 is agreeable to me. What time in the afternoon?
   Date of Birth - March 18, 1896 3:45 A.M. at home: 422 East 82nd St., N.Y. City, N.Y.
Name in full given at birth: [1792]
-What is my life's work? -What am I best fitted to do? -How can I accomplish this end? -Why is there a string attached to everything I attempt to do? -Advise me what to do and how to do it - knowing about it is not enough. The solution of it is most important, for that alone gives the required results, which should end successfully. -At this stage of life should I change my course? If so what would I be best fitted to do successfully & how should I approach it to accomplish a successful end. -What of my association with people, in the past, in the present & future? What is your best advice. -What security is indicated in my present circumstances - and what would it be if I followed your advice as a result of this reading. -How would my state of Health be affected by changing to a suggested course to be followed as against its present state? -Would there be any serious results or major changes in my present marital status, under the prevailing conditions existing at present or under the attempted adjustment if you advise one to be followed?
   Very truly yours, [1792]

REPORTS

1. 5/12/68 He requested a copy of his readings.
2. 5/19/68 Reply to Questionnaire:
"As to the Life Rdg. and how it helped: At the time nothing was done. Did it have any effect at all? Yes, it answered what the strings were and tended to serve as a guide in self-discipline. How well it fitted me at the time? I was a graduate engineer! I was a graduate in law!
"How I evaluate it now at so many years later: Let the record speak for itself. I am still under National Security but I can tell you that I was employed by the Manhattan Project as an engineer. The Manhattan Project was responsible for the atomic bomb!
"As to general health I am in good health and retired after these many years. I still read with wonderment the Life Rdg. and the Physical Rdg!
"Many thanks to you, Gladys Davis Turner, for your kindness and speedy action as to my request for the copies of the Physical and Life Rdgs!
"It is good also to know you are still alive and associated with the work of Edgar Cayce. Take care of yourself. May God bless you."
