3/16/39 EC's letter to [
1797]:
"Thanks for yours of the 14th and for your good wishes for my
birthday. While maybe I'm getting old in years here, as yet
I seldom feel that I'm old. I hope that I have much to do
here as yet, and the will to do my best at it.
"Glad you had the opportunity to have Hugh Lynn and [
257]
go over your reading with you, and trust it may mean much
to you. I am especially anxious to know how the boy [
1817]
comes along with the suggestions for him and hope you
will soon see a great improvement. I will appreciate
your letting me hear from him from time to time.
"I will be glad to hear from your friend - and to try and be
of a help for his wife. I haven't heard as yet, but will let
him hear from me as soon as I hear from him.
"I'm glad you saw Dr. Dobbins [for [
1817]]. I am sure he
will direct you in the right way, and do hope for the very
best soon.
"As for the reading for yourself: The first open period we
have is the morning of the 23rd, 10:30 to 11:30, E.S.T. Be
sure and let us have your questions before that time if you
wish me to hold that period for you.
"Thanking you again, and hoping to be of a service..."
3/20/39 He submitted questions, asking that HLC sit in.
