This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 13th day of February, 1925, in accordance with request made by [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the Pyorrhea Cure, prescription of which was given in a reading, and other products, the information regarding same which may be procured from the same source, and the manufacturing and distributing of same. You will please tell us how would be the best way to go about this manufacturing and distributing to make a financial success.
2. EC: Yes, we have the Pyorrhea Cure, the prescription or formula of which was given in a reading. We have many other formulas for specific conditions that exist in the physical forces of the human and animal life, which may be used for their ease and for betterment to the physical conditions of the body; thus adding to their development in the physical plane.
3. As to how these should be prepared, manufactured, distributed, to make financial success, would be in following along those lines as have been outlined for same. For the best results of same, someone who has a working knowledge of the forces through which such information is obtained should have the charge of preparing and of the distributing of same. Need not, however, be same person. Best that these preparations be prepared through an organization apart from the work as being done, and handled in a business like manner, and the results from the properties as given to humanity should be the reason, resource from which the distribution would come; that is, beginning in the small manner and way, and letting the business, or the product, produce that necessary for the expansion of the distribution of such products from time to time.
4. Necessary, to be sure, that all who have knowledge of such work be acquainted with the fact that such preparations are being prepared, yet let the construction be so that there is no business relation whatever between the product as distributed and of the work as given through the Forces, yet let the information regarding conditions in body be ever responsible for results when necessary. In this way and manner, we would find there would come the financial success of such products, for we find these may cover a vast territory. Let this ever be the criterion for such products; the results for specific conditions, rather than product that would bring money, but let each be in keeping with the work as has been set forth from the beginning. That is, where there are specifics for specific conditions, let those conditions be clarified, classified, before such product would be given to individual. Necessary, therefore, that there be some monies expended to begin such operations, yet we will find there will be returns, some thirty, some sixty, some an hundred fold. Do that.
5. (Q) Would it be advisable to have one, Herbert Openheimer, of 205 East 44th St., New York City, New York, a manufacturing chemist, manufacture these products?
   (A) As has been given, best that someone who is acquainted and knows of the work and of purpose. Such ones as would be found in Hall, E. M.; McKinnon, Charles; Cromwell, R. A. addresses Birmingham, Selma, Montgomery, Alabama; such as we KNOW have had experiences in the manufacturing end of such proprietary properties.
   As to distributing, these should come through other sources. Might be through any of the great wholesale stations, when such a demand is created, first through the hundreds who know of the work. Then let same build and make the position, the necessary place for its development.
   Do not EVER (this as a law) give any knowledge, workable or theory, for which there is not the necessity of same for man's better development in earth plane. Let there be purpose other than of the purely money purpose, but money purposes will come when the heart and the spirit is in the correct channel.

4. 2/05/25 EC's letter: "I may be wrong, but I believe these [matters] should be handled outside of readings. We, however, will get this for you just as soon as possible."

6. 2/10/25 EC's letter: "I gave a bottle of this [pyorrhea remedy] to Mr. [195] whom you met when you were here, and he gave it to one of the dentists here, who selected 4 cases of pyorrhea in various stages, and has tried it on them last week, and they phoned me today it's the most wonderful thing they've ever seen. They want to go to work to make a fortune out of it right away. So, now, if you want to consider any of these people, why I think they're in a shape to go, and I believe you can do something with it. You know Dayton is considered one of the biggest patent medicine centers in the country. Several of the leading proprietary medicines are either manufactured here at present, or their manufacture begun here. These are given merely as suggestion, not as information. [195], of course, is very enthusiastic about the results this dentist has gotten, and of course wants to be in on the thing if he can. That's up to you."
7. 2/12/25 Mr. [900]'s letter: "Now, regarding our pyro-cure, it is wonderful that the test should have been so successful and adds much to our enthusiasm in the matter. From a purely business standpoint, would advise you to be very careful who you let use the medicine before we are fully protected legally. Irwin Berliner, an attorney, is working on this and says we will soon be ready to incorporate, in the meantime advise great care. Our whole success depends in no one discovering or chemist analyzing our ingredients in medicine. However, you know your people."
