(Q) Should Calcium Chloride or Sodium Chloride be added
to the sea water?
(A) Calcium Chloride. The Sodium Chloride is within; and
in parts - or in the sea water gathered close in we often
find sufficient Calcium; but where it is used (and it is
preferable to use the sea water, see) we would add one
ounce to the gallon - of the Calcium Chloride, see; and
two ounces of Sodium Chloride added to the sea water.
This boiled, of course, with the Bark, before the other
ingredients are to be added.
(Q) And the density of this is to be reduced to four?
(A) Four and seven-tenths, yes.
(Q) Any other suggestions for this company, or the members
at this time?
(A) Do these, for the present.
We are through.
