1/24/44 [
1807]'s letter to EC:
Hotel ... letterhead ..., Mass.
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Thank you for your reading of January 16th. In your
diagnosis and recommendations for treatments there are many
things which I, as a layman, do not understand sufficiently
to go ahead and put into operation without the interpretation
of a physician and advice as to how to go about these things
with the best results.
I have lived in ... a short time and have no connections with
any professional men who might advise me.
I should like to know if you can recommend anyone here or in
this vicinity whom you have recommended any of your patients
to or someone with whom you have had contact with yourself
who might be able to give me assistance and advice.
I shall have to be delayed in carrying out your
recommendations longer than I anticipated. Due to this fact
I feel that the check reading which I was scheduled to have
on February 10th 10.30 - 11.30 A. M. should be deferred to a
later date so that it will give more time to see if the
treatments I am to have are effective and just what the
reaction will be at the time of the reading.
I can let you know just when I put the treatments into effect
and you may be the judge of when you wish to give me a check
reading.
Thank you for your courtesy and I shall appreciate an early
reply.
Sincerely, [

Mrs. [

..., Mass.
Dear Mrs. [
1897]:
I have yours of the 24th. We have no individual or doctor or
group in ..., Mass. I think if you would go to any good
osteopath, he would be able to advise you. I am sorry I
can't help you out right now. I am sure that it will be much
better if we put off until some future date the appointment
for the Morning of February 10 - until you have taken some of
the suggested treatments.
I wish I could help you more. Let us hear from you, and we
will give the appointment for the Check reading sometime
after you have taken some of the treatments, in the last
reading.
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:mpw
