5/27/39 [
1826]'s Husband's letter to EC:
Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I appreciate your letter of May 24th and very much appreciate
the immediate consideration given to my letter of May 20th,
by furnishing a reading for Mrs. [
1892].
In this case, your advice has already been put into practice.
Treatments are being given according to instructions and we
are hopeful of good results.
You inquired about my wife [
1826]. She has not improved as
we had hoped for, however, her condition is quite different
from when you gave the reading in February.
She has gained some weight, is somewhat stronger, but there
are conditions now that still are puzzling to all of us,
including the medical profession here, and I would very much
like for you to give a check reading, but do not address to
me.
Please forward to Mr. [...] [her brother], ..., Ala.
If it is necessary for her to be at any given address at the
time of the reading, if you will just let me know, I promise
you she will be there, the hour and the day you appoint.
I am enclosing herewith check, anticipating your cooperation
as requested above.
In your last letter you emphasize the opportunity to ask
questions might help to clarify the information. In this
connection I would like to know what causes the constant
temperature, day after day.
Would also like to know cause of pains in the upper part of
the right thigh.
5/29/39 EC's wire: Wire her address for tomorrow morning
ten-thirty eleven-thirty Eastern Standard Time.
5/30/39 See
1826-4.
