2/05/39 [
1828]'s letter to EC:
New York City
Dear Mr. Casey, [Cayce]
By this time no doubt, you have already heard from [
257]
informing you that I would request a life reading.
Due to the countless praises of your fine work and at
the suggestions of Mr. [
257] I take this opportunity of
requesting your help to see if perhaps, you will be able
to guide me as you have so many others in the past.
Enclosed please find a list of ten primary thoughts at
present uppermost in my mind. You may not find it convenient
at this time to attend to them all. However, Mr. [
257]
thought you might desire them for your contemplation.
If you could find it convenient to establish an early reading
and notify me of the time set, I will be at the above address
during that period.
May I thank you in sincere anticipation.
Yours sincerely,
1. What outlets are best suited to my talents?
2. What does the immediate future promise along work lines?
3. Is my present business set up advantageous to progress?
4. Would marriage be an aid or a hindrance at this time?
5. Will I be capable of making happy the person I desire at
the present for a life partner?
6. For the sake of all concerned should that wish be
culminated now or soon?
7. [crossed out] A person dear to me is suffering a physical
handicap - can something be done to relieve that?
8. [crossed out] Another person in whom I am much interested
is undergoing financial upheaval. What steps can be taken to
aid that situation.
9. Of a woman friend, should that friendship be strengthened
or brought to a conclusion?
10. Who was responsible for an anonymous phone call and what
action should be taken?
11. What can the body & mind do now to bring peace to her
soul & develop her to the perfect desire.
2/08/39 Mr. [
257]'s letter to EC: "Attached hereto are two
applications and two checks. I would suggest giving Mr.
[
1827] his reading in the morning and Miss [
1828] in the
afternoon. Please ask Gladys in mailing these two readings
to mark them 'purely personal' in these two cases. After the
readings come in, they will probably send down for additional
questions in each case as there is an unusual problem
involved in both these lives and I am sure you will be
very helpful..."
P.S. "I have asked Miss [
1828] and Mr. [
1827] to be in their
respective offices at the time of the reading. Give Mr.
[
1827]'s rdg. in the A.M. and Miss [
1828]'s reading in the
afternoon of Feb. 21st..."
