Mrs. [

New York, N.Y.
Dear Mrs. [
1833]:
Thank you for a most pleasant afternoon. It was good to
"catch up" on many subjects of mutual interest and have an
opportunity to tell you about our present activities with
the Edgar Cayce records.
The blue booklet, "A Sequel to the Story of Edgar Cayce" [See
under
2753-2 Reports] outlines the tremendous job we have
before us in classifying and indexing the thousands of
records. I hope that you and the boys will want to have a
part in this program. The research possibilities are
challenges in many directions.
We want just as many people as possible who had readings and
can see the importance of this work to have a part in it.
Hence, we have made it possible to plan contributions over a
three year period during which the work will be accomplished.
Some of our friends are able to give only a few dollars a
week from "grocery" money. And one young woman puts away
twenty-five cents per day. All of this adds up quickly
over the period.
The amount is not so important as the interest, good-will and
sense of participation in one of the most important research
projects ever undertaken in this field of research.
I hope that I will hear from you at Virginia Beach.
My secretary is mailing you a copy of STRANGER IN THE EARTH
and inclosed you will find "Miracle Man of Virginia Beach."
You will receive sample data covering the membership
activities of the Association.
Perhaps when I am here again in the spring we can have a chat
again.
Sincerely yours, HLC
