7/01/39 Letter to EC:
Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach Virginia
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I have your very kind letter of recent date relative to
reading for Mrs. [
1838] to take place the afternoon of
July 5th and have this to say:
Have carefully gone over the case with both Mrs. [
1838] and
Mr. Jeiter who has been in charge of the work as originally
outlined by you. Naturally, the question of relief from
pain is paramount. May we respectfully ask -
1. What can you suggest to relieve the severe pains that
continually exist in the lower right leg - the calf and
the foot.
2. Sometime ago "Benzoin" was directed to be applied to
back and other parts. This has been done without apparent
results. Should it be continued.
3. At the time Mr. Jeiter is applying treatment, Mrs. [
1838]
is without pain. Can you suggest anything she might do for
herself when he is not there.
4. Will you please review the work of Mr. Jeiter and tell us
if there is an error in his treatment of the body. If so,
will you correct it.
5. Mrs. [
1838] cannot sit or stand comfortably more than a
few minutes at a time. Will the relief asked for in
question number one help this or is there further
suggestion to relieve her pain in the calf of the right leg
and foot in the manner of her body posture as she sits or
stands.
We are seeking relief from severe pain that exists at all
times except during the work of Mr. Jeiter. We sincerely
hope and pray you will suggest this relief.
Thanking you in advance, I am
Gratefully yours,
7/05/39 See
1838-4.
