1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, [1842].
3. As we find, the conditions in the general manner are improved. There is needed, though, more of the stimulating of the centers along the spine to keep the better coordination between cerebrospinal and sympathetic nervous system. We would continue occasionally with these adjustments, and such may be had at Raleigh.
4. Also we would use daily the Radio-active Appliance. Do this and use this period for prayer and meditation. It is not necessary to retire but if the body should go to sleep, don't try to keep self from going to sleep, but do set the period to awaken.
5. Do these, and as we find, we will keep the better conditions for this body.
6. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) What causes the pain in my right knee, and what can be done to relieve it?
   (A) This is the lack of eliminations. If we would have better stimulation kept, we would have those applications or adjustments at least once a week. Also we would use the Radio-Active Appliance and be sure the same connection is attached to the body first each time; that is, to the wrist or the ankle first, see? the same one which is begun with, and to the right wrist, left ankle; left wrist and right ankle. This is the manner. Be sure that this is firmly attached but not bound so as to prevent circulation. This will aid in equalizing. This is an excellent period to use for meditation and prayer, as the body-energies are closer in accord, by this material or physical attribute, in equalizing through the magnet produced that equalizes the flow of the circulation. Nothing will be felt but you will feel better after this has been used a few days, less headaches, less pains in extremities.
   But do have the adjustments once a week.
8. (Q) Is there a special osteopath in Raleigh whom you would suggest?
   (A) The one who used to have the hospital there is the better. He is acquainted with the activities.
9. (Q) What treatment is recommended in lieu of osteopathic treatments?
   (A) If there has been one found we haven't it yet!

   Dear Mr. Cayce:
   Once again I am indebted to you. I feel selfish in taking your time for a reading when so many people are making demands upon you, especially so since you will not let me pay the usual fee (I started to say, "Pay you for your services", but took that back because the value of the services which you render can not be computed in dollars and cents). Thank you for the reading; at least you will let me give you this.
   I have written one of the osteopaths in the list you gave me and hope eventually to work out a more satisfactory arrangement whereby I can receive treatments more regularly. The closest osteopath to me is from fifty to sixty miles away and you can see that it would be very difficult to take a treatment every week. I do miss these treatments. Dr. Richardson did me a great deal of good I thought. I must confess that I have not been able to follow through consistently the advice which you gave since moving from accessibility to Dr. Richardson's treatments. If I had realized how much I was going to miss those treatments, I might have thought a little longer before leaving.

   I have a friend who is suffering from arthritis to whom I should like to pass on the Abstract from the Readings on that subject. May I have a copy, please. Am enclosing something for postage. Thanks a lot and my best to all of you.
