10/31/41 [
1861]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce
I am enclosing a dollar, for which, please send me a bottle
of Adiron tablets, as mine are about out now.
[
2072] and I spent yesterday in ... looking at
radio-phonograph combinations and doing some shopping. No
one seems to be able to fix my RCA machine for me and I am
asking the factory to take it back. We have about decided
on a Panamuse instrument. It is not automatic in that it
will play both sides of a record, but hope it will prove
less trouble to keep operating. Certainly do wish the RCA
was practical, but it appears not to be.
So far as I know know, we most likely will come down to
Norfolk next Wednesday, as before. If you can meet us, you
know we always want you with us. Should something prevent
our making this trip, will get word to you.
It is pretty late now and I want to get this mailed so you
will get it tomorrow morning, so will bring this to a close.
Ever sincerely, Mr. [

10/03/42 See
1861-14, Par. 12-A, indicating he is still
experiencing excessive shrillness in his phonograph.
