This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of January, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [1861], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1861]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are still improvements in the general physical forces of the body. While there has not as yet been much change in the vision, since the second improvement indicated by the test of the vision, we find that this is - as to abilities - being improved.
4. To be sure, there have been some conflicting emotions in the body as respecting sources or agencies of improvements.
5. This would be well for the body then, to analyze, in its own self:
6. There is the body, the mind, the spirit, the soul. As to whether that spirit is in unison with the Creative Force (no matter what name it may be called) depends upon the activity of same through the mental and physical body.
7. As we have indicated for the body, all healing - of every nature - MUST come from the spiritual. It is the attuning of same to the divine within self that brings healing forces. Thus, as was given, it is well - with the mechanical applications - that the body raise that awareness, that spiritually energizing force, consciously within self, in deep meditation; provided there IS the consciousness of what it, the influence, is to do, and this not IN its activity of a selfish nature. It may be personal, yes, - but individual more than personal.
8. Thus this will aid in bringing greater relief in the vision, as well as the interpreting of love, peace and harmony in the body and mind and soul.
9. We would continue occasionally, at least once a month, the GENERAL massage and the specific treatments to head nerves and the eye, - especially from the upper dorsal to the optic centers. It would be better that there be one treatment CORRECTLY given than half a dozen partially or wrongly given! Thus, we would insist that there be kept the present applications with Dr. Richardson.
10. Keep the carrot juices as a portion of the diet often. These in the physical sense will aid.
11. As to the violet ray application, - there has been indicated a specific time. This has been overstepped at times, with the idea that if a little would do good more would do more good; while at times more does harm rather than good! It is as an overtaxation even to a strong muscular force may weaken, may even deter the best activity. Do not overstrain, but keep the violet ray - and not more than the minute and a half. Two to three minutes is worse than none being given!
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) How long should the vibrator be given?
    (A) This is different, of course. Give this until the body is relaxed. Whether it is ten minutes or fifteen minutes or what not, give it until there is felt the perfect relaxation. This is to relax the body.
14. (Q) Give color this body might meditate upon beneficially for self healing.
    (A) The white light of the Christ, if the body, in itself, would find help. It isn't the color, it isn't the vibration, - it is rather the awareness of entering into the spirit of truth, the power of health, the power of love.
    Do that.
15. (Q) What are the reactions of the Kundaline forces, - physically, mentally, spiritually?
    (A) We might write five or six books upon this! Just which one is desired to be known? There are twelve centers acted upon, each in a different manner, and from the varying sources from which these vibrations are raised in and through these centers - and for what purposes. How many characteristics and desires does the body have? Figure those and multiply it by about fifteen, and you'll have just how much variation there may be in such activities in the body! How many dispositions have you seen in the body? These are all activities of the kundaline forces acting upon some reactory force in the centers of the body. These are well to be controlled, or maintained, but purposely - not for selfish motives; to be sure, individual, but creative.
