9/25/39 [
1865]'s letter to EC:
"Back to my usual life here in the hotel, I am anxious to
continue your helpful suggestions. Would you please give me
a check reading? The afternoon hour suits me better, but I
can arrange it as it is convenient for you, only kindly let
me know the time. I have been suffering a great deal this
summer, which has been very active for me. I am grateful to
have the strength to fulfill my duties and know that I have
profited through your treatments and gained the great
assurance of God's help.
"I discontinued the Epsom Salts Packs, feeling worse after
them. The sciatic nerve in my left leg began to be very
painful. This added to my crampy feeling, difficulty to
stretch it and great stiffness. Walking is still a painful,
difficult matter. I have also much trouble in keeping my
balance, especially if I want to turn.
"Otherwise I am well and look fine and happy.
"I got the Congress booklet and feel as if I had been there
a little bit.
"Daily I think about you, dear Mr. Cayce and ask God to bless
you and your work in helping humanity..."
