GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for relief and improvement of same.
EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. Now, we find the general physical conditions in this body on the improve from that as we have had before. While there is still inflammation shown in the bronchials and larynx, and the condition of the stomach is not satisfactory; yet all these conditions are on the improve. Those properties for the stomach should be followed along a close line of dietetics, for easy assimilation of a system necessary to build red blood and vital forces for the system. A good tonic would be Wyeth's Iron, Beef & Wine, see? and using much of those of junket, arrow root, egg and olive oil as much as the system can stand without becoming obnoxious or hurtful to the digestion - easy of assimilation, see?
In the throat and the larynx we would still keep those inhalations and conditions as have been given. WE would ADD to this - NOT to this solution, but as another inhalant, those properties of apple brandy; that is, kept in a charred container, and in a container at least twice the size of the quantity IN container, see? That is, as this proportion: To a gallon container, place at least half a gallon of the brandy - pure APPLE brandy. Let this be kept tightly corked, but close to the heat that will produce evaporation, see? Not heated, but so that evaporation takes place, and this inhaled, the gases and fumes from same, inhaled directly into the lungs, see? two - three deep inhalations sufficient until the system can feel the effects of same, see. This, added with this, taken two - three times a day, just so it's not OVER taxing the system. This will assist the inflammation to be allayed, giving strength to the respiratory system, and assisting the body in the general way and manner. Well that the change as to altitude and climatic conditions be made as soon as is good for system. We are through for the present.

Dear Mr. Cayce:
We have received your two readings of myself, for which we thank you most kindly. Please accept the enclosed check, in appreciation.
I am some better and have followed carefully your treatment prescribed with the exception of the apple brandy inhalations. That, we are unable to obtain on account of the State Law.
I have been ill since the last of December. Completely run down; extremely short of breath and quite nauseated at times. Our doctor here has made many tests and says practically the same as you: - General depletion of system with two spots on the lungs. - Nothing else organic, as he has found, so far. -
I have given up all my out side work, organ, clubs, etc., and am just RESTING - in bed most of the time. When I am able, my husband thinks that I should go someplace for the change. - You speak of higher altitude and change of climate. Have you any suggestion as to WHERE I should go or HOW LONG I would have to remain? - Also, would grape brandy do in place of the apple? - Both Dr. [2227] and myself are much interested in your work and wish to thank you for the interest you have taken in me. -

I have yours of the 23rd, with enclosure, for which I thank you very much. I certainly am sorry to know of your illness, but am very much in hopes that you will find that the suggestions as have been given will prove as beneficial as they have in so many other cases. I'm sure the rest cure is about as beneficial as anything in the world, and with the aid of those things that will help build up the body, you should be able to throw this off, to overcome it entirely. I'm sorry to know you are unable to get this apple brandy. I think that carries more healing properties than the grape brandy, and would have an entirely different effect, upon the system, but I don't know why it wouldn't be well to try this, for it's that stimulation that you need, without the effect of the alcohol directly in your system. As for the climate, if I remember correctly, some years ago it gave you North Carolina, and I notice that several others we have had it has given that same climate, or Saranac, New York. However, this could be asked as a specific question if you would like, which we will be glad to do so if you so desire.
I certainly appreciate yours and Dr. [2227]'s interest in my work. I'm glad to say we are having some very remarkable and very wonderful reports from many of the people. I certainly wish we might have someone associated with our work like the Doctor, when we get started.

My dear Mr. Cayce:-
I am wondering if you would be so kind as to take another reading of my own case? - I am ever so much better but at times I have such terrible cancor [canker] sores come into my mouth that it is almost getting the best of me. They last about a week or ten days. (I would like to know WHAT is the cause of these sores in my mouth - IF THERE is any cure - and IF ANYTHING can be applied to relieve the pain and soreness after they start to come: -)
I would also appreciate knowing (what condition my eyes are in - whether that causes my extreme nervousness). I have been wearing glasses for the past two years but they do not seem to give me much help, - possibly they should be changed.
I believe that if I could only get these sores in my mouth stopped and my eyes in a better condition, that I would be just fine again. -
