GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which have been or may be submitted, as I ask them:
EC: Yes - something wrong about the address here, but we have the body, - for she is praying - [1887].
As we find, the disturbances arise from the glandular forces of the body. There has been a great deal of disturbance through the mental influences about the body.
These as we find, with the lack of the proper balance in the chemical reactions in the system, have produced deficiencies in some respects and excesses in others; forming too much of a calcium reaction in the system, - as to the muscular and tendon forces. Also these produce inflammatory forces in some portions at times, and at others a general mental depression, as well as the reactions through the assimilating forces that cause the disturbances for the body.
As we find, in making administrations, - we would first purify or clarify the glandular influences of the body; and we would use the Gold Solution with the Radio-Active Appliance.
But first we would begin with small quantities of Atomidine; one minim in half a glass of water before the morning meal. Take this for about five days; then leave off for three days; then begin again - and take for five days again, see?
Then, with the beginning of the second series of taking the Atomidine - after the three days of rest between, you see, we would begin also the adjustments osteopathically of those influences as we find are disturbed through the sacral and coccyx area, and in the upper dorsal and through the cervical area - as specific centers. Of course, coordinate the 9th dorsal areas with the corrections that are made.
The Atomidine would be taken for the first five days, you see, before beginning the adjustments; so that the effect of the adjustments, the loosening of the centers especially as indicated, will aid the Atomidine in purifying or cleansing the system, - taken in the manner indicated - only ONE MINIM in half a glass of water before the morning meal.
After the second series of the Atomidine, - that is, after taking the Atomidine the second time for five days, you see, - begin with the Radio-Active Appliance, but this arranged so that there is the Gold Solution - one grain to each ounce of distilled water. Hence, the plate through which the Gold Solution would pass should be somewhat larger than the ordinary, while the smaller plate would be of copper. The larger nickel plate, through which the Gold Solution passes, would always be attached to the umbilical and lacteal plexus; while the small copper plate would be alternated in the attachment, as follows: The first day the right wrist, the next day the left wrist, the next day the right ankle, the next day the left ankle, - then starting over again.
Keep the plates polished very clean, before and after attaching to the body. Do not attach them so firmly to the body as to indent, but so as to be in perfect contact with the body. The Appliance would be attached for one hour each evening, for a period of at least thirty days. Then leave off for fifteen days, then have a second series of this. Change the Gold Solution every fifteen days.
Throughout the period there should be at least some eight or ten or twelve osteopathic adjustments; left off for a period of ten days, and then another series of some ten or twelve.
We should find a great deal of help, not only for the disturbances through the sensory system, - as the eyes, the hearing, the taste, the smelling (which are disturbed in periods), - but we would find the basic causes materially aided; that is, from the glandular forces.
In the diet: Keep away from alcohol or alcohol-producing foods; as those combinations of a great deal of starches. But keep more of vegetables and fruits. The meats should be fish, fowl or lamb. No fried foods at any time.
Do not combine cereals AND citrus fruits at the same meal. If coffee or tea is used, do not use milk or cream in same.
These as we find, if they are consistently followed, will bring the better conditions for this body.

Keep the mental attitude in more of a constructive manner; that is: Know that the body, the mind has purposeful work to do - service to give to others.

Told him who I was, etc. Voice from inside room (Mrs. [1887]'s) 'I'm not interested.' Asked her about her reading. 'I never made use of it. They sent me something - it wasn't anything like - not like me at all.' Mr. [...] closed the door, and off I went."
