11/09/31 [
1925]'s letter to EC:
Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Victoria Hotel,
53rd St. & 7th Ave.,
New York, N.Y.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
Having noticed in the paper this morning story, under a New
York headline, regarding you, Mrs. Cayce and Miss Davis, I
hasten to write you to express my sincere regret that you
should be forced into such a predicament. Remember "they"
did Christ the same way when He was on earth, and so will
they do everyone else who has anything new or different from
the ordinary. It looks like a "frame up" on the part of
someone not friendly to you.
I was talking to Mrs. Jordan [Rev. Fred Jordan, Spiritualist]
this morning, telling him that I was going to write you this
afternoon, and he asked me not to mail my letter until he
delivered me a note for you, which I am enclosing.
I suppose Dave Kahn, Mr. Zentgraf and your other New York
friends can get you out okay, but my how I too wish I could
be up there to help you. I want you to understand that,
while I am far away, my heart is with you, and I sincerely
hope everything will come out okay. I am sure it will.
With kindest personal regards and best wishes, I am
Yours very truly, [
