TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1938].
3. As we find, with the general physical forces of the body there are rather the complications.
4. A great deal arises from a bit of neglect on the part of the body as related to the eliminations, and a great deal arises from a general debilitation that is a natural consequence of the reactions due to age and the disturbances indicated as combined with same.
5. Then, as we find, these are the natures of the disturbances for this body:
6. In the blood supply the slowing of the circulation through the abdominal area tends to make for a bit of toxic reaction. This producing pressures upon the nervous system brings disturbing conditions through the areas from which locomotion comes, as well as a disturbance for the limbs and feet, - and at times we have an acute condition with the head and throat, and the conditions through THOSE areas of the body.
7. These as we find, then, cause the greater disturbances in the activities of the organs themselves.
8. The nerve forces are the effect rather of the pressures indicated from toxic poisons. The acute conditions are not only a combination of the poisons from toxic forces, but conditions that arise from a character of infection through those portions of the system.
9. Yet all of these should respond to the applications as we may indicate, for a great deal of help to this body.
10. First, we would have the character of adjustments and manipulations, combined with the hot and cold water treatments, as given by Backman. We would also have the massages along the spine, the relaxations especially across the abdominal area with the hot and cold packs.
11. These treatments should be given about every other day for the first three weeks, - then they should be had at least once each week.
12. For the conditions of the gums and teeth, or where there have been disturbances in these areas, we would use IPSAB as a massage for the gums - daily.
13. Also we would use for one hour each day the Radio-Active Appliance, for two weeks, then leave off five days, then begin again, and so on - for the low form of the electrical vibratory forces as BODY-reactions from the use of the Radio-Active Appliance. This as we find will bring the better conditions in enabling the body to sleep or rest better. This we would use just before retiring at night, or when ready for retiring.
14. Once or twice a day we would use a week solution of the Ipsab as a gargle for the mouth, - the proportions being half a teaspoonful in half a glass of water - preferably distilled water, rather than just tap or plain water.
15. Be mindful of the diet, - that no fried foods are taken. Take those foods that are rich in vitamins for the activity of the alimentary canal, - as in plenty of raw fresh vegetables made into salads. Let one meal each day consist principally of a combination of these raw vegetables.
16. Of course, plenty of well-cooked vegetables may also be taken, - with fowl, fish or lamb as the meats, if there is the desire for meats.
17. Plenty of gelatin, junket, and much natures are also well.
18. Do these and we would make the better conditions for this body, [1938].
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) Is it possible to regain strength, vigor, and new interest in life?
    (A) As we find, with these applications we will find a renewing of not only the general activities but a better reaction to the conditions ABOUT the body.
21. (Q) How may I overcome my periods of despondency? Are they due to physical or mental or environmental conditions?
    (A) Physical, and the effect of the poisons - that will be cleansed by the cleansing of the colon, when the other applications are made, purifying and removing toxic forces. Thus we will find a different outlook upon life.
22. (Q) What should I do for better eliminations?
    (A) The colonic irrigations should be given once or twice, during the first two to three weeks of the applications by Backman.
Then the change in the diet, and the general application of those things indicated will be most helpful.
If there continues to be the disturbance, or the lack of proper eliminations, use a teaspoonful of Eno Salts (the fruit salts, you see) regularly every morning for three to four days, leave off three to four, and then take it for three to four more days, and so on. This will aid in creating the better balance.
    Do that.
23. (Q) I have not been able to chew even soft foods -
    (A) As indicated, we will have a much better condition if there will be the massage of the gums with the properties indicated - the IPSAB, - also using this in a weakened solution as a gargle.
24. (Q) How may I secure relaxation and release from insomnia?
    (A) As indicated, - all of these have been taken into consideration.
    Do as outlined.
25. We are through for the present.
