This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of December, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1947], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., ..., N.C.

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1947] of ... High School, ..., N.C., in regard to her health, her children, her associations, her life and work. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1947]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, the physical forces of the body and the mental attitudes are very good, - if that ideal is kept which has been indicated.
4. While it is true that the accomplishments in the material world arise from motives, purposes and ideals that come from within, yet these are given power from without according to the ideal of the body-consciousness.
5. Hence, as He indicated, each soul should be aware that while the material motives must be within, to keep harmony in body and in mind they must be in accord with the Way. He IS the way, the truth, the ideal.
6. Then, let not any influence or purpose sway the entity from holding to and declaring the purpose IN body, IN mind that none other than He may direct.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Since the treatments from Dr. Tucker, what is my condition? What is suggested further?
   (A) As we find, and as indicated, this is much improved. There only needs to be kept, when needed, the further adjustments or stimulations to those deflected areas. Unless other conditions arise, we find that these need be done only occasionally.
9. (Q) Any comments on Dr. Tucker and the manner of treatments given? Are any more necessary?
   (A) These have been well, as we have just indicated.
10. (Q) What is condition of teeth, gums? What treatment suggested?
    (A) These are very good in the present. There needs to be kept the proper balance of calcium in the system, not only for the activity of the teeth and portions of the structural body and bones, as conditions gradually develop, but to make for a better activity of the thyroids through the system.
    Calcios, taken occasionally, should aid in this direction. Take only the quantity as may be easily spread on a whole wheat cracker, eaten at mealtime when the meal is not hurried. Don't take it all at once, for the body only assimilates so much. Say, the first two or three times, take only on Tuesdays and Fridays - until at least three or four doses. Then take it regularly on Tuesdays only, at least until the first quantity has been taken.
11. (Q) What is necessary to insure good hearing on my part?
    (A) Keeping the balance in those areas of the Eustachian tubes, as well as the proper stimulation from the upper dorsal and through the cervical areas. But these are in very good shape, only needing an occasional treatment - unless there arises cold or congestion, or, from some cause, an excess acidity through the body.
12. (Q) On the part of my daughter [2005]?
    (A) In this case, we find the condition is not disturbing. There only needs to be the proper coordination, and especially the attuning to music.
13. (Q) To relieve mental strain and pressure, is marriage advised? If so, when - or how soon?
    (A) If there is the consciousness of the needs for same, physically and mentally, and there is agreement as to purposes, principles and understandings with thy friend, then well to consider same. As to when, - when this is more agreeable to all. As we find, early spring - or January or February would be the better period, if this is considered in keeping with the ideals of all.
14. (Q) Which is preferred - [2080] or [A...]?
    (A) That must be answered within self. There ARE those ideas of a nature that make [2080] the preferable. There IS the security in other directions - quite different - that makes [A...] preferable. But as indicated, these should be in agreement. For, as the body has gained the understanding, - such relationships must be of a creative nature and of an equal proportion of purpose and of ideal. Hence that one that the nearer answers to that, and there is agreement, should be the choice.
15. (Q) If with [2080], please indicate as specifically as possible how this can be brought about?
    (A) As indicated, this MUST be agreeable on the part of each as to ideal. If this is not the natural course of associations, it had better be left off!
16. (Q) Will be called into service? If so, when and for how long? Is his safety possible?
    (A) We haven't that phase, - only as related to this entity - unless it's desired that the channel of this information be diverted.
17. (Q) For future health protection for my family, should water and food be stored for emergency? To last how long a period? Any further suggestions?
    (A) No. It should be remembered that the food, the silver, the gold is the Lord's. To be sure, consistency should be used in taking into consideration the exterior problems; but such considerations as these are not problems in the present.
18. (Q) Is the locality in which we live safe for well being in case of possible future catastrophes?
    (A) This is safe.
19. (Q) Is the prediction of the falling of the great rock true? If so, approximately when would this take place?
    (A) This is a spiritual and not a physical activity. As a result of such, there may be from the internal sources great stones, - but not as indicated by that prophecy - as a LITERAL activity - as yet.
20. (Q) Should I, if married, have another child? When?
    (A) This would be the natural consequence, as we have heretofore indicated for the body, and would be desirable for all conditions concerned.
21. (Q) How may I be given a master for spiritual guidance?
    (A) Read that which has been given as to WHO IS thy Master! There should be only ONE. For, as He hath given, "If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments, and I AND the Father will come and abide with thee." Seekest thou some other way? Hast thou not accepted Him as the way?
    Analyze thyself. Take thought, and act. For there is no other name given under heaven whereby men, or women, may be saved.

   "Our little prayer group, the threesome, [1663], [1992] and I, have had some interesting results. Whenever we need help for ourselves or others we call up the other two and say 'Please work on...' then we start our affirmations and visualization on the subject till we get results.
   "Knowing you are so efficient, I certainly would appreciate a thought from you on my marriage - to see it going through to [2080], the druggist. He has grown immeasurably in understanding. So your visualization would certainly be appreciated - since the reading has approved of him."
