Dear [
1968]:
Thanks for yours of the 1st - but here you must not tear my
letters up like that, would lots rather have them sent on
even tho they do not say all you would wish to say at times.
We think of and speak of you often here, every now and then
the girls whom you met here last summer ask about you, when
they come to the meetings each Tuesday evening, so you may
know we all have you on our minds, with a lot of love and
appreciation.
Yes - Mrs. Cayce and I both think a lot of the young lady
H. L. married while she is not pretty, she is one of the
loveliest girls have ever known, they had a little trip and
haven been home now to two or three weeks. Have an apartment
in the Beach home [Beach Home Apt. Hotel, 28th & Atlantic]
don't know whether you remember the place or not it is at the
other end of the Beach 29th st believe it is and we are on
14th or Arctic Circle but H. L. still has his office here and
come in every morning to work, and we see Sally every day or
so, think she rather likes my Jelly and apple sauce also.
Am indeed glad to hear you are following out your reading -
don't get too much of the calcium, that may cause irritation
to skin if it is not all well assimilated but keep up the
Atomidine to get rid of that glandular trouble, and when you
get the trouble in spine corrected, every few weeks have an
extra treatment to keep the system in shape.
The Hydrotherapy will be fine for you also - marvelous that
you have the exercise machine, you like that don't you? am
sure you do tho.
You see the treatments keep the eyes in better shape as well
as does the general treatments and exercise.
Fine - yes, am sure even tho the office is routine you will
find each day some where you can help, some one to know God
better and this doesn't mean with a long tirade as to what
this or that should do - for what one does themselves speaks
much louder than any thing we may say in words.
We will go to N.Y. for a little visit and work Sunday, be
there two weeks and have an open meeting and Lecture on the
evening of the 14th at Shelton Hotel hope we may be able to
help some where along the way.
Hear from Mrs. [
264] some time ago all seem to be well with
her but guess you hear from her every week or so.
Let us hear from you again
All send love and regards [signed] Edgar Cayce

Dear Mr. Cayce:
Your message of January 8th [See under
2678-1 Background]
was so inspiring and helpful. I hope it will impress all
the members of the Association who receive a copy, as much
as it did me.
For a long time now your name has been on my prayer list,
sometimes first of all. And the work you are doing has a
very large place in my heart. I want to reaffirm here and
and now that I will continue to set aside a few moments each
day in prayer for Divine guidance for the work and all who
have a part in it.
May God bless every one and use us all for His glory.
Sincerely,
7/04/42 Miss [

Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Thank you for your letter.
The more I think about Virginia Beach, the more I want to
come there. I know it will be different this year on account
of the war situation, but there are two other girls here who
want to come too, so I think we will take a chance on coming.
I hope the oil on the water won't interfere with the
surf-bathing. I don't think the "dim-outs" will interfere
much with me.
Also I want to see all of you again and I would like to get
two readings - a physical and check life reading. Do you
think you can take me about the last of July or the first
part of August? I plan to be at V.B. about July 27 to
August 7 if my plans work out.
Mrs. [
264] wrote me today they are moving to Boston about
the first of August. I want to see her so much. If she
can't come to the Beach, I am going to try to go to
Washington for one day and see her before she leaves.
If you find time I would appreciate your telling me if you
think I should not come to V.B. I hope the newspaper reports
and rumors are exaggerated. I want to come very much. In
fact there's no other place I want to go. I hope all your
family are well and I am looking forward to seeing you.
Sincerely, [

7/08/42 EC's ltr. to Miss [
1968]:
Thanks for yours of the 4th. Glad you are keeping Virginia
Beach in mind - don't think you will find many nicer places
than this and hope few as good for you - just hope you and
your friend will feel that way about it when you come. The
water was just fine this morning - was down myself and has
to be good for me to venture on the Beach even as you
possibly know.
Will be glad to reserve two periods for you - the Check Life
and the Physical. Let me know when you decide the date and
will try and fit it in first thing when you get here so you
will have time to discuss it afterward. Yes, Mrs. [
264]
hasn't been to the Beach as yet and says there is the chance
of their going to Boston in three or four weeks. Will miss
her, but if it works out best for she and Mr. [
853] and glad
for them.
Will be looking for you at the Beach - if you haven't already
chosen a place consider the Essex House. It is close to the
house and is a nice place, am told. Just be where we will
get to see you real often while you were here.
[...] and Miss [
421] was here for two weeks just left this
afternoon.
Be seeing you - I hope
with all good wishes
Sincerely
7/28/42 She was present for her third Physical Rdg. - See
1968-7.
7/31/42 She obtained a general Check Life Reading to answer
questions. See
1968-8.
