9/02/42 [
1968]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
"It was so nice to see you and all your household again, and
it was a real privilege to be in your home and meet other
members of the Association. I also enjoyed your Sunday
School Class and the Tuesday evening meeting.
"More than anything else though, I was glad to get my two
readings and I want to thank you again for them. I read them
over often and am trying to follow them to the letter, which
is sometimes difficult.
"Sometime after you get the prescription for the IPSAB,
please tell me where to get it and just how the gums should
be massaged with it. That is, tell me at your convenience,
because in the meantime, I am using salt and soda, which
my reading suggested could be used; that is, either that
or Ipsab.
"I was so glad to meet Sally and I want to tell you that I
think she is one of the very nicest girls I have met in my
whole life. I don't know when I have been so impressed with
anyone on such short notice. She has such a quiet, soft
voice and such easy manners. She is my idea of a perfect
lady and just what one should be.
"I have had one letter from Mrs. [
264] since she moved to
Boston and am so glad she is pleased there. I am looking
forward to her next letter after she got a copy of my
readings, because she always discusses them with me and
I feel like she gives me such good advice.
"Please remember me to Gladys and tell her I hope she is
enjoying her new home and all her shower gifts.
"Please give my love to everyone I met there. And thank you
again for all you have done for me. I hope you are well and
happy"
Sincerely,
9/05/42 EC's letter to [
1968]:
"Mighty nice to have yours of the 2nd. It's good to know
you enjoyed your visit to the Beach this year. It certainly
was nice to have you here and we enjoyed every moment of the
time you favored us with a little visit. Many members of the
study group ask about you now and then.
"I'm glad you liked your readings. I hope they help a lot,
and am sure they will if they answer to a something within
yourself.
"Ipsab is made by a Mr. Marsden Godfrey, 2709 Lafayette
Blvd., Norfolk, Va. It sells for about $1.00 a bottle, I
believe.
"Sally is a very sweet girl. I think we are most fortunate
in having two such lovely daughters. The other boy's wife
is quite different from Sally, but is just as sweet as she
can be. But Sally I know much better, and one couldn't ask
anyone to be a nicer sweeter lovelier daughter than she is.
We are very proud of her, I assure you.
"Yes, I have only heard from Mrs. [
264] once since she moved
to Boston. I am expecting a letter though very soon now
again.
"I think Miss Gladys likes her home, but I am sure she
is finding it much different from being here where she
did as she pleased, and a house and home is a bit of a
responsibility.
"Glad to hear from you, [
1968], and hope we may hear real
often. Know we are glad to try and help at all times..."
7/25/43 She was present for her fourth Physical reading - See
1968-9, which ended by saying "And don't forget the sons!"
6/19/44 She was present for a Check Life reading [
1968-10]
on her Egyptian incarnation, answering questions.
