(Q) What are the possibilities in regard to having children?
If this could be accomplished advisedly, suggest the medical
steps necessary and the name of a doctor who could handle the
case.
(A) As we find, this would NOT be advised owing to those
disturbances and conditions which have existed and do exist
in relationships to the activities through the creative or
procreative organs of the system, and their relationships to
the rest of the body.
Rather apply self in the way of ministering to the needs of
others, in such a way and manner as to fill those conditions
in the system.
If this is to be accomplished, it may be better determined
when the full corrections and the restorations of the
activities of the glandular system as related to same have
been accomplished.
Much of this, of course, will depend upon the very nature and
manner in which such osteopathic corrections are made.
(Q) What causes the pain in my left arm, just below the
shoulder?
(A) This as we find arises from some toxic forces, as we
have indicated, that arise from the poor coordination between
the cerebrospinal AND the superficial or the sympathetic
circulation.
(Q) What causes my insomnia and how can it be cured?
(A) Through those manners that have been indicated.
Insomnia arises from the lack of coordination of the nerve
forces of the body, see? With the osteopathic corrections,
and this creating of the coordination between the vegetative
or sympathetic or imaginative activity of the nerve forces
AND the cerebrospinal, we will find MUCH better rest.
(Q) Is it possible to suggest a good skin lotion to keep
down a tendency to acne? Please advise what to use, and
where to obtain it.
(A) When general eliminations are better established, we
will find less tendency in this direction.
As to the better lotions, - we would suggest the Black and
White; but the Genuine Black and White (made in Chicago, NOT
Plough's Black and White).
(Q) What should I do to guard against fatigue and nervous
tension?
(A) As has been indicated.
Do these things; being consistent in the ways and manners
that have been indicated; and we will remove not only the
causes but also the effects that have been created in the
system, - in those inclinations or tendencies which have been
experienced in the appendicial area, the insomnia, the
nervous indigestion; causing a better restoration to the
activities of the whole glandular system; removing the
tendency to so easily take cold; and creating a better
general condition.
We are through for the present.

[Question submitted which did not get asked:
Q. Was there any difficulty with the appendix last spring or
is there any indication that appendicitis will develop in the
future? What did cause the illness, if it was not the
appendix?]

enclosed] for Osteopath, also directions for Druggist
in preparing the inhalant.

BACKGROUND
2/22/39 Letter from [
1992]'s Aunt, Mrs. [
1663]: "...My niece
[
1992] has had an abdominal pain for several days. An
excellent doctor in Durham has diagnosed this as appendicitis
and wants to operate on her as soon as possible. Her husband
wants her to have the operation IMMEDIATELY and probably
would think her 'off' if she had a reading. I want to pay
for a reading for her and she is 'for it' but feels he should
not know about it as he might be antagonistic. Even if she
gets the reading, there might be difficulty in following it
up. Maybe not... She tells me privately she dreads the
operation and has a doubt about its being the thing to do..."
9/05/39 Mrs. [
1992] obtained a Life Reading - see
1992-1.
9/25/39 Questions submitted for a Physical Reading.
REPORTS
2/12/40 Report: "Mrs. [
1947] tells me that you will give me
a check reading on 2/15 in the a.m... I will be at home, and
will hold the hour free.
"Since Christmas I have been feeling more and more exhausted,
and I am most anxious to get some help. The osteopath who
was treating me (Dr. J. Ella Hardin of Durham) gave me some
kinks in the neck and such a back twist that I felt it best
not to go back to her until you check on her work. Will you
please ask if I should continue treatments with Dr. Hardin.
I am willing to cooperate with her, but I don't feel that I
am getting the proper results.
"The other questions are enclosed [See Par. R2 below]. Also,
the check.
"You have been such wonderful help to us all, and we are
everlastingly grateful."
2/15/40 See
1992-3. Questions submitted besides those which
got asked in
1992-3: "If osteopathic treatments are to be
continued should these be given by Dr. J. Ella Hardin?
"Menstruation has not yet corrected itself. Would you
recommend glandular substance? If so, state what to get, and
where.
"What treatment do you recommend for spastic colon?"
2/15/40 See her second Physical,
1992-3.
7/03/40 Mrs. [
1992] obtained a Physical Rdg. for husband. See
2298-1.
11/07/77 Mrs. [
934] wrote ordering from Va. Beach via GD the
inhalant 1992-2, mentioned in Dr. Reilly's book ["Edgar
Cayce's Handbook for Health Through Drugless Therapy"] p. 251
in the chapter on the Common Cold, saying she was about out
and "it keeps me from going berserk with sinus headaches."
11/21/77 She phoned GD saying, "The inhalant is wonderful!"
11/04/80 GD's note: Mrs. [
1992] has remained an active member
of A.R.E. all these years.
