2/14/40 HLC's ltr. to Mr. [
2000]:
Dear Mr. [
2000]
It is my pleasure, and opportunity, to be going through our
files endeavoring to bring each individual record up to date.
I have read with considerable interest your correspondence,
and Readings. I want to assure you that we are always glad
to be brought in contact with individuals like yourself who
have an understanding, and an appreciation, of this type of
work.
You can realize, I am sure, the struggle it has been
throughout the years to present my father's work in a
manner befitting its tremendous value. We welcome the
growing public and scientific interest in all of these
subjects.
You will appreciate the importance of securing on each one
of the individuals for whom my father gives a Reading as
detailed report as possible to the accuracy of the Reading
in analyzing the existing conditions, and the results
obtained in following the suggestions. I am enclosing
a blank which you may use in making out your report. Please
do not confine yourself, however, to this blank, but give us
as many details as possible.
I know that you will be interested to learn of our Expansion
Program which is going to make possible the indexing of the
thousands of Readings like your own which are now in our
files. Each one of these Readings contains valuable
information which cannot be studied or presented in a
scientific manner until such indexing and extracting work
has been started. One Reading alone may not prove extremely
valuable except to the individual upon whom it is given, but
a hundred or more Readings on similar conditions might
furnish information of considerable value for research
purposes. We have worked out a plan by which every
individual will be given the opportunity to have a part in
making this possible. The enclosed booklet will give the
details.
I hope that we will have the opportunity of meeting you in
person, and that you will try to be present for our Congress
next June.
Sincerely, Hugh Lynn Cayce, Manager [hlc:gd]
