GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
As we find, while conditions are very good in most respects, there are changes in the physical reactions in the body since last we had same here.
From outside influences we find that pressures have been caused in the cerebrospinal system; especially in the areas of the 2nd and 3rd dorsal and 3rd cervical; which has caused some deflection to the activity of the stomach, as well as a deflection in the auditory forces - which is indicated in the speaking voice.
This should be corrected, else we may find - while it may be corrected in a manner by the body's own growth - it would leave weaknesses and tendencies to be met later on - in the digestive system as well as in the abilities of enunciation.
Then, in the beginning, we would have first about four osteopathic adjustments; with special reference to those areas in the upper dorsal, through the cervical, AND at the end of the spine.
With the first of such adjustments we would then begin with massaging the spine, particularly, with Peanut Oil; at least every other day.
To purify the alimentary canal, give every day about three drops of Glyco-Thymoline or Lavoris; and keep this up until such may be detected as an odor in the stool.
Do these; and be mindful as to diets; keeping plenty of the vitamins, especially B-1, A and G. These will be found principally in scraped beef or steak, cereals, carrots, yellow yams, yellow peaches and yellow apples. Give the apples only cooked, however, and these in their skins - as roasted, see?
Do these for the better conditions for this body.

(Q) Was this pressure from an injury, or just what?
(A) From the outside, apparently from a wrenching or hitting, or a sitting down, or wrenching of the spine. Of course, it was very slight, but - as indicated - it has been sufficient to deflect even the emptying of the duodenum.
(Q) What can be done as a precaution to keep her from contracting Infantile Paralysis, which is prevalent in the vicinity?
(A) Every other day give one drop of Atomidine in half a glass of water, before the morning meal. Keep this up for five doses, skip five, and repeat - continuing in this manner through the winter.
(Q) Would this also be a dosage to prevent a grown person from contracting Infantile Paralysis?
(A) For a grown person take two drops EVERY day for five days, skip five days, and so on.
(Q) Any other suggestions for precautions, than those already being taken?
(A) These we would do, as we find indicated in the present.

BACKGROUND

9/07/41 Letter from [1005] to EC: "...Just a note to ask for a check reading on [2015] when you get the check readings. She hasn't been well for several days and we are kinda worried about her. As you know from the papers, we are having quite a wave of Infantile Paralysis in this vicinity. No cases in ... but quite a few in ... so we are naturally worried about [2015]. We are giving her enemas and Castoria in broken doses. Two questions we would like asked are: 1. What is causing the quantities of mucous on the bowels and what can we do to relieve this condition? 2. What can we do for this baby to keep her from contracting Infantile Paralysis? Any precautions other than are already being taken?..."

REPORTS

9/17/41 Aunt's [24] verbal report to GD: "When [...], [mother [23]] and [2015] first came to ... on a visit in early June of this last summer, [2015] fell off the couch right on her head; probably jammed all those vertebra which has caused the trouble mentioned in the reading yesterday."
9/30/41 Letter from [1005] to EC: "...Just a note to tell you that we received [2015]'s reading and have started the treatments. Dr. Beard has had some trouble getting [2015] to be still long enough to give her a complete treatment, but never the less she is responding nicely thus far. Her stuttering is very much improved but she is still bothered with a bronchial condition which causes considerable coughing. I think her general condition is improved a lot..."
