3/03/43 [
2017]'s father's letter to HLC:
New York, N.Y.
Dear Hugh Lynn:
"We have two friends, very lovely people, Miss [
2923] and
Mrs. [
2932]. They are both suffering from certain ailments,
we don't exactly know what. We recommended to both to take
the 'Cayce readings.' Miss [
2923] took one and I understand
she is going to Boston for a check-up. Mrs. [
2932] will
write to you or to father for a reading. I am sure you will
do all you can to help them.
"Many people of that type are coming to us. When they hear
about your father, and we are doing all we can to help them
through your father.
"As I wrote you, The Review, I think is coming this month.
If it does, I will send you copies. I received the
photostats you sent me. They are very interesting but too
late to use any of it now, and perhaps it is not necessary
either, as it would make the review too long, and the
'Beacon' does not like long reviews, as this one is very
limited..."
Kindest regards to all,
Yours very sincerely
"P.S. I met the other day, Dr. Alvin B. Kuhn [Alvin Boyd
Kuhn] and gave him one of your little leaflets. He was very
much interested because he says he was one of the candidates
for professorship in the University which was started in
Virginia Beach [Atlantic University] in connection with your
work. Do you know him? He has written a book, THE LOST
LIGHT, an interpretation of the Bible from the ancient
Egyptian sources, especially THE BOOK OF THE DEAD."
5/13/44 Mrs. [
5113] obtained a Physical Reading via Dr.
[...]'s recommendation.
1/27/47 Father wrote that [
2017] was married.
8/29/53 [
2017]'s father's letter to HLC:
"My wife and I were much interested in the recent article on
your father in Pageant [9/53 Pageant magazine - "Man Who Made
Miracles" by Michael Bakalar]. It was to us the Edgar Cayce
we knew.
"Dr. Dobbins was [
2017]'s doctor at your father's suggestion,
and you know she was cured..."
[...] joins me in sending our greetings to you and Mrs.
Cayce.
Sincerely yours,
