GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body, [2018]; this we have had before.
Some conditions show improvements. Others, as we find, still continue to be disturbing to the system.
When necessary (and we will indicate how this is to be judged), we would continue those applications as have been suggested, - until we may purify the eliminations sufficiently to allow the natural forces of the body to react; and we should see continued improvement, - very slowly or gradually at first, but after the system begins to respond, much bettered conditions.
So long as there are the indications of mucous in the colon, this should be removed by the colon irrigations; every other day or oftener if required. For this has been a part of the disturbance. And especially should such irrigations be given while there are the applications for better eliminations and activities through the conditions in the liver; so that there be less of the causes or sources of infections, as to involve the organs of the alimentary canal as related to the organs in the eliminating system, - as the kidneys, and as the glandular forces that supply nutriment through or from same to the bodily forces themselves.
In the matter of the diets, - these should be rather of the semi-liquid and liquid nature, with as much of the vegetable and meat juices as the body may well assimilate, but without any fatty portions in same, of course.
Beef juice taken in small sips often will be strengthening, as will the vegetable juices; and such as a little (not large quantities) of whole wheat and steel cut oats, and the like.
After there has been at least another round of the Castor Oil Packs, with the Olive Oil taken internally, and the response from this, we find that the gentle massage daily as from a masseur will be most helpful, to aid in stimulating better reactions.

(Q) If there is not an elimination each day, should the enema be given that night?
(A) It should.
(Q) Should another colonic be given after the next series of the Oil Packs?
(A) This should, of course, by all means. And, as indicated, watch the stool very carefully, as to the character of same, see? And so long as there are the showings of mucous, these are necessary to be kept up - the colonics, see?
(Q) When this course of treatment is completed, how long after that should the body be kept on liquid and semi-liquid foods?
(A) For at least sufficient period to purify or cleanse the system throughout the alimentary canal. Ten days to two weeks, at least.
(Q) How soon may he have toast and crackers?
(A) At least not until after waiting for three to four days, and then another series of the Oil applications. And after that these may be taken, or they may be begun - in very moderate quantities.
Do these, and we should find continued improvements.

(Q) What is wrong with left kidney, and why does it show in present form under X-Ray?
(A) So long there has been the attempt in the system for the hepatic circulation to function to care for the excretory forces, that - coming under the greater strain - it shows its activity.
Unless there becomes great pain, or a great deal of pus is shown in the urine, this should gradually respond to normal reactions in the body, - by keeping the system rid of the poisons and the natural excretions from functioning of such organs, - as the kidneys and the liver.
(Q) Are the glands involved?
(A) Naturally, - the glands of the digestive system, the glands close to the kidneys are involved, - from INFLAMMATION - which has been a part of the whole general disturbance.
With the purifying of the system, and the use of the easily assimilated foods, these should gradually respond to NATURE, - more than other influences or forces.
(Q) How are the glands involved, in comparison to pathologists' diagnosis?
(A) As just indicated - these ARE involved, but these as we find are SYMPATHETICALLY involved, - more than being the causes or the SOURCES; though, to be sure, remaining long in such conditions would themselves become diseased, as well as dis-eased.
(Q) Are there any malignant or tubercular conditions present in this body? If so, how can they be combated?
(A) We do not find them as true malignant nor tubercular conditions. These may be best determined by the very examinations of the blood supply, and especially of stool and urine.
(Q) Any other advice for the body?
(A) Do these things, as we find; being, of course, careful as to not OVERDO, nor leave too much of excesses of poisons to again so overcome the system as to destroy the vital forces of the body.

10/17/39 Mr. [1005]'s letter: "I talked Dr. Haynes into asking Mr. [2980] to get the reading for Mr. [2018] since Dr. Haynes could not have any official connection, being Mr. [2018]'s doctor. I read the diagnosis given by the Vanderbilt Hospital and asked the questions from same for Dr. Haynes' benefit. To date Mr. [2018] has improved 100% according to Mr. [2980]'s testimony, and the whole family is tickled to death with the progress so far."
