ATTENTION OF MR. E. CAYCE
Dear Sir,-
To comply with your kind request I am listing below a series
of questions to be asked at the time of my life reading.
I shall endeavor to remain in prayerful meditation from 10:30
to 11:30 A.M., E.S.T. on the 3rd of October, at which time my
life reading is to be compiled.
The questions follow:
1.) At what time was I born.
2.) Shall I continue in the Healing profession or enter a
different field.
3.) Is it advisable for me to move now, and where to.
4.) What can I do about S.M.
5.) Just what induced Mr. DD to discharge me.
6.) If there is a "Soul Mate" for me, where shall I look for
It.
7.) What is the most important phase of my life in this
incarnation. And how can I serve best.
Thanking you, I remain
Respectfully Yours [

Dear Dr. [
2023]
Regret to tell you we did not get your reading this morning
- had a very urgent physical reading and undertook to get
it with your period, so were not able to get yours in. Am
making the period for the afternoon of the 9th - 3.30 to 4.30
E.S.T. Will try and see that the period is not interfered
with this time - hoping that will be satisfactory with you,
and sincerely trusting we may be of a real service.

Dear Dr;-
Hope you find the information interesting - and as helpful to
you as so many others tell us theirs have been for them. You
possibly, like others will have to read it several times to
get the real insight of what it is trying to tell you. After
you have read, laid it aside - then read again several times.
Hope you will let me know what you think of it, and can we be
of any help in giving the better understanding of same, know
we will be glad to do so.
Sincerely hoping to have been of a service
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce

5/16/40 HLC's letter to [
2023]:
Dr. [

..., New York
My dear Dr. [
2023]
My delay in writing you has been occasioned by the fact that
my father has found it necessary to take a vacation since his
return from New York. He will begin his work again around
the first of June, at which time I will write you regarding
another appointment for the reading that you talked with me
about in New York.
Let me assure you again that I am as anxious as you to make
this information of real value to you, and we will do our
best to cooperate with you in every way.
Sincerely, Hugh Lynn Cayce [HLC:EM]

ATTENTION OF MR. H. L. CAYCE
Dear Mr. Cayce,-
The reading you sent me last October didn't fit me in any way
and the answers to my questions were entirely useless.
On your visit to New York, last April, you promised to
arrange for a new reading (or a correction of the first
one) soon after your return home. But, up to now, such
arrangement has not been made and, as much as I regret to do
so, I feel justified to renounce to the acquisition of the
information I was seeking, and to ask for a refund of the
money I paid.
Trusting to receive a prompt reply, I remain
Very truly yours [
