Case History as told by husband, immediately following the
Reading [2025-1] - she was so overcome he had to tell it -
both so VERY pleased with the Reading:
"She began having trouble and we went to her cousin who is
a specialist; had X-Rays taken which didn't show anything
definite. Then another was taken, using the different kinds
of minerals; and the nationally known surgeon, a friend of
her cousin's, said it showed nothing definite but that it
did look suspicious, and he suggested an exploratory
operation.
"So, we went to the Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, and
she was operated on, or opened up, just about a year ago.
And our family doctor and this specialist, her cousin, came
down from the operating room and told me they had found an
inoperable cancer - couldn't do a thing - it had spread all
over her intestinal tract and all the organs, and if they
took it out it would mean removing everything practically,
and she would have to have an artificial drain which would
be living death.
"Then these two doctors, with the surgeon who had opened her
up, had a conference and decided it would be better just to
sew her up again and let her live as long as possible, - not
take anything out.
"So, then we started giving her serum, which a friend of her
cousin's had heard about, which was made out west by a doctor
friend, which had been tried in this country and in England
with good results in retarding the growth of cancer; though
no hope was offered as to a definite cure.
"We did that for months and months. Then in May and June
she began getting so much worse, losing weight and looking
so much worse. They said she had colitis, and started
treatments that would probably make her better. Her cousin,
the specialist, said he would tell her what was wrong and
maybe she would fight more, or longer. I had withheld the
information but thought if there was a chance to help her I
would do it. So he told her, and she didn't have very much
longer to live.
"It was about that time that the [...]'s saw her, and
Mr. [
1662] called me up and suggested that we consider
very seriously this spiritualist group that they were very
much interested in, and that there was a doctor in New York
City who through a medium operated on cases like this and we
could talk to him and see whether he could help. She had an
interview with this doctor, and had thirteen treatments from
him through this doctor who was supposed to have lived three
hundred years ago. We made thirteen trips to N.Y., and then
he moved outside of Philadelphia as he had so many more that
came to him there. She had altogether eighteen treatments,
and she has been assured by this doctor that the cancer is
entirely removed (which apparently your examination has
proven), but that she does have colitis - or whatever it is
- and it'll take some time to clear that up, but that the
serious part and diseased tissue has been removed. I think
one reason she has been so nervous lately has been that
she was afraid she still had the cancer or some part of it,
and that you would tell her so. We are both so relieved.
It is absolutely amazing - a wonderful gift you have,
Mr. Cayce..." etc.
REPORTS
10/14/39 P.M. of same day her husband, Mr. [

..., Pa.
Dear Mr. Cayce,
Enclosed please find check for my physical check reading.
The time - Wed. at 10.30 to 11.30 is quite satisfactory.
Following are my list of questions.
1. What is the cause of the bladder condition I seem to have,
and what shall I do for it?
2. As aspirin seems to be the only thing I know of, that
makes me comfortable when suffering - does this hinder my
recovery?
3. Will my bladder trouble yield to treatment, so that I
may soon be well?
Thanking you,
Sincerely, [
2025]
P.S. Is there anything I can do to overcome extreme
nervousness?
