TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2033].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal physical reactions.
4. Here it might be said that there was not accomplished that as fully desired by the operative measures; for the causes as disturbed the activity of the liver were not removed, as related to the gall duct and its activity upon the system; for, although these portions were affected and involved in the disturbance, they were not the source nor the primary cause.
5. Hence we have the combination of causes of the disturbance, as well as the after effects of those conditions which resulted from the lack of the system being able to function in a nominal manner - with the present conditions involved as they are.
6. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2033] we are speaking of, present in this room:
7. In the blood supply we find, owing to the inefficiency of proper eliminations, and the disturbances caused in the lack of proper adjustments to bring coordination in the eliminations without the activity of some of the system, there are the effects of the poisons left in the system that should be eradicated.
8. This causes through the abdominal area (the effect from these poisons) the formation of gas, as well as prolapsus; as well as a form of anemia, which produces a great deal of weakness, inability of the body to work under any great distress, or to tax self in any activity that requires a great deal of physical exertion.
9. This is the effect of the toxic forces upon the system, then, that are carried through the blood streams without the activities of the eliminating system being able to eradicate same from the bodily forces themselves.
10. In the nerve forces, - here we find the involvement of the nervous system, rather than being the primary or motivative causes. Owing to the pressures in the lumbar areas, through the abdomen, upon the nerves of the sensory system, we have the inability for proper attaining of rest of recuperative forces from the attempt to rest.
11. Hence we have the effect of insomnia, with the effect this produces - by the lack of the ability to attain the recuperative forces; owing to the nervous disturbances, the pressures in same, and the inability to retain the strength and vitality.
12. THIS activity adds to the disturbances of the bodily forces.
13. Hence in the activity of the organs themselves there is produced rather the complication of conditions throughout.
14. While the central nerve system or brain forces are very good, the reactions to the functioning of organs become involved owing to the toxic forces and the poisons and the conditions throughout the system.
15. Hence we find at times that most all of the organs are apparently involved in the disturbance.
16. As we find, then, in making administrations that would be the more beneficial or helpful, - while it will take some time, a great deal of patience (which the body is gradually learning), and a great deal of persistence, we may gain a near to normal, though not a perfect, reaction; and gain strength and vitality for the bodily forces themselves.
17. First, then, through the manipulative forces osteopathically, we would aid in alleviating those pressures through the lumbar, the sacral, the 9th dorsal, and coordinating the upper dorsals and cervicals with same; setting up better eliminations through the alimentary canal.
18. These would be given about three times a week until at least six have been taken; then about once or twice a week. These would be taken in periods, and then a period of rest from same, and then have periods of taking them again.
19. We would use an abdominal support, that there may be a better position obtained when the body attempts to move about, or walk, or be active in most any physical way or manner.
20. About once each week, or at least a week apart, we would have the high colonic irrigations; until there have been at least three to four taken, or until there is no more of the mucous shown in the stool when these are given - or the mucous and phlegm removed from the alimentary canal.
21. Be mindful in the diet that there is not too much of starches or sweets, but more of the body, blood and nerve building foods.
22. Have a great deal of fruit juices, yes, - but these not combined at the meal when cereals of any nature are taken. Hence, we would have fruit juices two or three mornings a week, and cereals two or three mornings, see?
23. The steel cut oats and the whole wheat cracked should be used as cereals, but cooked a long time; and these, OR the fruit juices, should be the main part of the morning meal.
24. Have a great deal of beef juices, more than the meats themselves, and liver and liver extracts - or the activities of same - at other meals. The beef juices and the liver extracts should be taken in small quantities and often, on the days when they are taken.
25. Then, two days each week, following the period when the beef juice has been taken two days in succession, we would use the heavy Castor Oil Packs for an hour or hour and a half - in the evening - over the caecum and the lower portion of the area just below the liver itself.
26. On the second evening, after the application of the second Pack, we would take internally at least two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
27. These should be followed in this manner each week, you see; the beef juice, the Castor Oil packs, and the Olive Oil internally.
28. Do these, and be very careful to not overtax self for the first six to seven weeks, and we will find strength and better health, more ability to sleep.
29. Keep away from all forms of sedatives as much as possible. As those bromides have caused a great deal of trouble, keep away from those; but there may be taken any good analgesic, or Aspirin may be taken occasionally.
30. Then, keeping up the foods necessary, the adjustments and characters of treatment as indicated, being patient and persistent, we will gain better health.
31. Ready for questions.
32. (Q) Shall I continue taking belladonna and medicine just prescribed by doctor?
    (A) As we find, these are NOT good; and if the other applications are made as suggested, NOT necessary.
33. (Q) What can be done to relieve pressure of gas on my heart?
    (A) The irrigations?
34. (Q) What effect does removal of gall bladder have on me?
    (A) As just indicated, the activities throughout the system are portions of the disturbance; for the CAUSE was NOT removed!
35. (Q) Did taking sodium bromide upset me?
    (A) As has been indicated.
36. (Q) Have I thyroid trouble?
    (A) This is reflex and NOT direct.
37. (Q) How much has worry to do with my condition?
    (A) Worry, to be sure, does not heal, - and thus adds to the disturbing conditions, especially because of the involvement of the sympathetic nervous system.
38. (Q) I am terribly worried. Does my worry come from nerves?
    (A) More from anxiety than from nerves, through the general environmental conditions; though the the pressure upon the nervous system by the poisons in the system adds to the general condition of disturbance.
39. (Q) How can I get rid of fear?
    (A) Trust in Him who is WITHOUT fear.
40. (Q) After following these treatments, will I be able to work?
    (A) Should be able to work if so desired, provided it is not too much standing on feet.
41. (Q) Is there any way I can keep my home?
    (A) This as we find may be worked out through the channels that have already been set in motion partially for the body.
Let there be more and more the mental attitude of wholly trusting in Him who IS the strength, the might, the power.
Let fear be cast out through love of His glory and purpose with thee.
42. We are through for the present.
