Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach Va
Dear Sir,
About two years ago I was stricken with a sickness and was
referred to you by my Brother [
5417] of N.Y. City together
with Mr. [
257].
To say the least I owe them both with your help, the
prolonging of my life, as Doctors had told me that I
had but a short time to live.
I made a special trip to see you and am indeed very sorry
to have not been able to be present at a reading which I
now apply for.
I shall be at my hotel, The ... at Miami Beach Fla at ...
Drive between ... and ... St on Oct 17th 10.30 AM as per your
instructions, and will await your reading in the following
mail.
I have great faith in you and your work and I feel certain
that you will help me in my present ailment.
May I please submit the following questions as per your
instructions.
1. Is it necessary that I live in this climate? If not,
where do you suggest?
2. What treatments if any do you suggest for the relief of my
present ailment?
3. Is it necessary that I maintain a certain diet, and if so,
do you suggest any, and will you please forward it.
4. Do you suggest that I refrain from ocean bathing which is
a great temptation to me at this address?
5. What do you believe is the cause of the disease? Heart,
Bronchial tubes, or my excessive weight? What do you
recommend?
6. Exposing myself to this constant sunshine will help or
harm me?
7. Should I become active in business or stay idle?
8. What do you believe will aid my breathing at night which
is very annoying and disturbs my sleep nightly.
Mr. Cayce, I have faith and hope in you and your fine work,
and I patiently await your reply. Please forward same at
your earliest opportunity.
I am herewith enclosing my check for the reading and hope to
be able to forward you a nice donation in the event that I am
relieved by your wonderful work.
Again thanking you for your previous help and with hopes of
finding relief again thru you, I am
Sincerely Yours, [
