Dear Mr. Cayce,
Owing to a fall I had in June, which left a fracture in my
back, I have been confined to my bed during the summer.
However, at the time of the accident, I was very tired and
have really not felt at all well for some time. I do not
have much strength and would be happy if you would give me a
"Physical Reading," for which I am enclosing a check. I
would appreciate it if you would give me this reading as soon
as possible, as I feel badly again to-day and am anxious to
start benefiting from the reading at the earliest possible
time, enclosed you will find a stamped, self-addressed
envelope, in order that you can let me know the time of the
reading and I can inform you where I will be at the
designated time.
I have learned of you and of your great benefit to others
from Mrs. [
1158] of ..., New York, who is one of my friends.
Questions for Physical Reading:
1) How can I procure sound sleep at night.
2) Should I take sleeping pills to enable sleep.
3) Should I keep more regular hours, taking my meals at
regular times.
4) Should I be awakened in the morning at a certain time, so
as to have my breakfast at the same time every morning.
5) Should I get fresh air and how long should I stay out side
during one day.
6) How should I get fresh air, as walking or riding a long
distance tires me.
7) Should I take massage or osteopathic treatments.
a) Who should give me these treatments.
8) Is there anything especial that I could eat that would
strengthen me.
9) Do I lack anything in my diet.
My daughter [
1995] is writing this letter for me, as it has
been difficult for me to use my arms since my fall last
summer.
Sincerely yours, [
