Dear Mr. Cayce:
I hope you are not too tired out these days. When I last saw
you in Virginia Beach at the Congress time and mentioned a
possible recheck physical reading, you told me you were too
busy then and for some time in the future. I have kept the
questions ready for the time when you would not be too
rushed. Perhaps it would be well to send them to you at the
present time, and you would know when you could best work
them in in a few minutes some time?
It has been necessary and is necessary for me to work beyond
my strength this summer, so that my health is not too good.
I follow directions as much as possible under the strained
present circumstances of being long months out of work with
nothing sufficient to get along with.
I have had a tooth grumbling for a long time which is hard on
the nerves. I had the nerve killed and the root filled and
the rest of the tooth - semi-double tooth lower right jaw
near front - but it still grumbles. I do not know that it
has anything to do with my almost constant ache in right arm,
also pain in right groin, below abdomen. I have asked
questions to cover these things in the enclosed sheet.
We expect to be here the rest of this month and possibly a
few days in September, then I will be wandering until my
school begins, knowing not where to go - when school begins,
my time will not be my own, so I will not be so easy to
locate.
I am here by [...], and not of course at the mailing address.
I think it would be easy to locate here as our cottage is
called "...".
I am so thankful that you are trying to get a Life Reading
for my good friend Major [
2576] who has been boarding with us
all summer. He is most anxious for the Reading and most
appreciative of all you are doing for him and others. I feel
he can in the future help greatly with the work as he is much
in public affairs where he meets all types of people, is a
lecturer and writer, historian, and a person with a future.
Kindest regards to the family. I have never heard from Hugh
Lynn since I left Virginia. I suppose he is busy and that
the Christ Ministry pamphlet can wait indefinitely. I wanted
to know his purpose and the length of the pamphlet so that I
could be planning and thinking about it.
Very sincerely, [

REPORTS

..., South Carolina
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I want to thank you very much for giving me the check
Physical Reading. I will get the Atomidine just as soon as I
can and follow directions. We are leaving here, New
Hampshire, now in a day, driving to New York City and then I
will make my way to South Carolina. I have given you my
address which is the above.
The summer has been rather hectic for us but God has been
with us and we still live. Many good things have come out of
the trials I am sure.
My very good friend, Major [
2576], has been raised up to help
me with the work, so that I did not fall under my burdens
this summer. I could not have carried on alone with all the
children and confusion of this summer.
We, the Major [
2576] and I, are planning to visit you during
the Christmas vacation if you are in town and have two paid
Readings as soon as we earn the money. The Major is very
much interested in what you told him, but feels there is much
more to tell that will be able to be gotten when he is
present that will be of great help when he starts his new
work. His gratitude to you is very great and his
appreciation inestimable.
Please know that I appreciate all that you are doing for us.
We hope to be of help to you and the work as we get
opportunity. Kindest regards to family and all friends.
Very sincerely, [
