This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of October, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [2072], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2072].
3. As we find, conditions show some improvement. Yet, to be sure, there is much to be desired in correcting all of those disturbances which have been indicated; so that in the assimilating of the foods there is a better distribution of the nerve energies and the supplying of proper eliminations from the superficial circulation. For, these have caused much of the disturbance in those periods previous to this. These, as we find, are on the improve.
4. The continued use of the oil rubs that have been indicated, using in same the small quantity of Lanolin, should tend to keep the circulation - especially through head, neck and face - in a much bettered condition.
5. Stimulation from the Violet Ray (which should be continued) would be well, provided it is not given too long; a minute or minute and a half. But this would be well distributed over the superficial circulation, as well as along the spine itself. This should extend through the whole length of the spine.
6. As we find, ANY activity that adds to the forming of a better condition in the fermentation and the activities through the alimentary canal will be helpful; only do not overdo same. If this is taken in the form of the Yeast, do not take more than a whole cake during a day; though it may be divided and half taken of morning, half in the evening. If this is prepared properly with the tomato juice, it would make more of the vital energies. Dissolve same in a small quantity of the juice, crushing beforehand, of course, and then add about half or quarter of a tumbler of the tomato juice itself, see?
7. These as we find should bring better conditions, if they are kept for this body.
8. We would occasionally have the corrective measures, osteopathically administered, - at least once or twice each month - if this is a thorough relaxing rather than stimulating treatment.

11. (Q) Should I continue fume baths and peanut oil massage?
    (A) The fume baths will be beneficial, and of course the rubs - as we have indicated.
12. (Q) Calcios?
    (A) We would leave off Calcios for at least another two months. Then we would take it again.
13. (Q) Would Codliver Oil be beneficial in the upbuild of this body?
    (A) As we find, if the yeast is taken, codliver oil would be most too heavy for the body.
14. (Q) Are there any conditions in the teeth that need attention at this time?
    (A) Some local attention is needed, and we would at least once each day use an equal combination of salt and soda as a massage for the gums.
15. (Q) Please give advice that would help in those times when there is the beginning of Kundalini to rise or there is the circulation of Kundalini through the body. What should be the next step?
    (A) Surround self with that consciousness of the Christ-Spirit; this by the affirmation of "Let self be surrounded with the Christ-Consciousness, and the DIRECTIONS be through those activities in the body-force itself."
    Do not seek the lower influences, but the Christ-Consciousness.
16. (Q) Please give advice that would help in the cultivation of a more pleasing, and dynamic, speaking voice.
    (A) This is only as the purposefulness and strength is manifested with which the affirmations or pronouncements are made, see? As there is the complete interpretation of the Christ-Consciousness in self, more strength, more dynamic personality is felt - it is the outgrowth of same.
    For, as He has given, "I stand at the door and knock; if ye will open, I will enter." Thus, as the Christ guides through the deep meditation and the raising of the consciousness in the body-forces themselves, the Spirit is making for the building of the influences for greater dynamic personality.
    There may thus be applied the ability as a speaker, as an interpreter, as a reader. Read those that require the forcing of the personality, and of the individuality, in the pronouncements.
17. (Q) Is there any advice to be given the entity on its study and understanding of the Bible?
    (A) Live that ye know each day, and as ye read and interpret in thy associations with others, there may come the greater understanding.
    As ye read, let this be as the thought and purpose:
    "SPEAK THOU TO ME, O LORD, IN VOICE; BUT LET ME MANIFEST SAME IN MY ASSOCIATIONS WITH OTHERS."
