(Q) Is there anything that may be done to strengthen her
speech, which grows weaker daily?
(A) The osteopathic stimulations in the upper dorsal and
throughout the cervical, and stimulation to the vagus
centers, SHOULD stimulate the ability to coordinate in the
reactions from the vocal cords - and especially the
absorption of the oils from the massage as indicated.
If there is the accumulation of fecal forces as to cause
disturbance through the abdominal area, we would use
persistently the Castor Oil Packs. Use two or three
thicknesses of heavy flannel, sufficiently large to cover the
abdominal area. These would be wrung out of the Castor Oil,
not merely the Oil poured on, and applied directly to the
body; as warm as possible, or warm enough to be pleasant in
the application - though it is somewhat messy. Then cover
these with cloths, and apply dry heat - as of an electric
pad. These would be kept on for an hour each evening, for a
couple of days. Then give a tablespoonful of Olive Oil.
Then, of course, a colonic may be given following same, if
there is not the cleansing as desired from the Olive Oil. If
there is the accumulation through the abdominal area, these
may be used once a week, - that is, this whole procedure, -
the Castor Oil packs for an hour each day for two days, then
the Olive Oil internally, and then the colonic if needed.
(Q) Would it be advisable for her to go to Florida about the
first of April?
(A) This will depend upon the reactions which will be
brought about between now and that period. The weather or
the conditions in the present environs by that time SHOULD be
such that more of the air and sunshine may be had which would
be BETTER than the Florida sunshine, for this particular
body, - and the baths, of course, may be taken in the present
environs.
(Q) Can you give any idea as to when she might see some
improvement?
(A) Do these, as we find for this body, and we should see -
within a month to six weeks - decided changes for the better.
We are through with this Reading.

REPORTS
3/06/40 Mother's letter:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
We are in receipt of your last report, resulting from the
reading you gave for my daughter, [
2076] on January 26th.
Thank you.
We are carrying out explicitly your suggestions and hope we
may see some marked improvement in her condition within the
next four to six weeks, as you stated we might see about that
time.
Thank you for mailing promptly the clinical reports to Dr.
G. W. Hall in Fla. Mr. [...] [[
2076]'s father] interviewed
him while on a trip to Fort Lauderdale, but he had nothing to
suggest to us to do for her which we are interested in
carrying out.
