6/27/40 Father's letter to EC:
..., Conn.
Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I have not been in touch with you since we saw you in
Bronxville earlier in the year. I have not forgotten the
X-ray pictures which I want you to see and shall get them
shortly.
It has been six months or so since my daughter [
2084]'s first
reading. As your record will show she had a check reading
later. She looks and seems better and incidentally one of
the physicians who treated her for years saw her recently
and remarked to my wife that he had not seen [
2084] look so
well in a long time. My wife told him what we had done and
are doing. His reaction was rather neutral. However we
believe as strongly as ever in the work and the good it
accomplishes. Had hoped to be able to attend the Congress
in Virginia Beach but unfortunately was unable to do so. It
must have been very interesting.
Due to our natural anxiety regarding [
2084] we should like to
have another reading at a date early as possible which is
convenient to you. Please advise me as to the date and
before the reading I will have some specific questions in
your hands. Please also advise me the cost of this reading
as I am a little confused.
I trust that a reading may be arranged soon and in the
meantime please accept our heartiest best wishes and best
personal greetings. I have only had the pleasure of talking
with you once but I like to feel, as I do feel, that I have
known you for a long time.
Cordially yours, [

2084-3.
