12/02/40 HLC's letter to Mr. [
437] paralleling Life readings
2090-1 and
437-2:
"As you requested, this will call your attention to sections
from Mrs. [
2090]'s Life reading and your own, which seem to
indicate a close association.
"2090-1 - Par. 31: 'There the entity was the companion of
one of the leaders who aided in bringing about the
centralized and localized activities in the endeavors to use
the commercial activities of the land, as well as the social,
the spiritual, the healing, as well as all forms of social
activities.'
"We felt that you were the leader mentioned. Later in the
Persian period this companion became tangled with Grecian
influences and lost ground. 'The entity gained and lost;
gained so long as it kept to those tenets and truths which
were set forth by the companion during that sojourn.'
"
437-2 - Par. 13: 'In this experience, as Edssi, the entity
gained and lost. Gained most when in the periods that the
entity became close to the leader (Uhjltd - now Edgar Cayce)
in his declining years, and carried much of those lessons
gained in that experience to those peoples throughout that
land.'
"You will remember that we had a number of readings on this
Persian experience and in this information it developed that
Edssi was one of the outstanding leaders of that period and
one who resisted the inroads that were later made by the
Greeks. In one of these readings there is a specific
reference to the work which Edssi carried on in making the
teachings and lessons given by Uhjltd practical through
'Centralization of commercial activities and development of
social reforms.' This is very much like the reference to the
companion of the leader who accomplished these things as
indicated in the [
2090] reading - as is the tie up with the
Greek influences.
"Evidently there must have been some contact in the Egyptian
period. As Shu-lom ([
2090]) assisted in the propagation of
the tenets and truths of the period, she must have come in
contact with you as a priest close to high priest through
whom the teachings were coming. This experience may have
paved the way for the closer association which existed in the
later incarnation in Persia.
"The part that interested me so much was an observation of
the law of balance which seemed to be working out. Evidently
Mrs. [
2090] (as your companion in the Persian experience)
must have brought criticism on herself and you by her
associations with the Greeks who came in to undermine the
work being carried on in 'the city in the hills and plains'
in Persia. It is reasonable to assume (taking our first
conclusions as accurate that you criticized her for her
actions then. Odd that you should get tangled up this time.
Perhaps [...] is the Greek [Wealthy elderly man whom Mrs.
[
2090] was considering marrying. Although she claims to be
in love with Mr. [
437], he with her, he advised her to marry
the wealthy man since he, [
437], is not yet divorced from
Mrs. [
1315] and, besides, he cannot give her the great
comforts of life that Mr. [...] can. Mrs. [
2090] had only
recently divorced her former husband.].
"As we begin work on the extracting, the Persian material
will be one of the first batches to get in shape. I will
then be able to give you a more complete story..."
2/16/41 She wrote, reporting on her Physical Rdg.
[See 2090-2], that she had now become Mrs. [...], and was
living on Fifth Ave. in N.Y.C.
12/42 We heard that she was divorcing her husband and suing
him for a million dollars.
12/28/42 Mr. [
437]'s wire: "Mrs. [
2090] would like to have a
Physical reading on her [21 year old] son [
2873]."
6/10/43 Mr. [
257]'s letter: "I have just finished the
arrangements between [
437] and [
1315] and I imagine sometime
next week they will begin to plan their separate lives. I
saw a letter from their son [
949] to the attorney in which
agrees the thing must happen, because of circumstances around
his mother's [
1315] affairs here in N.Y. which took place for
the past five to six years...."
6/44 We heard that Mrs. [
2090] was now married to Mr. [
437],
and that Mrs. [
1315] was now married to Mr. [
2416].
3/53 GD's note: We heard that Mrs. [
2090] was divorcing
Mr. [
437] and suing him for money. Mrs. [
1315], to protect
him, also filed suit for a prior claim.
8/26/60 Mr. [
437]'s letter reporting on his present
activities indicates a friendly relationship still existing
between him and his first wife, [
1315], although she still
remains married to Mr. [
2416].
