(Q) Is there any nasal pathology present?
(A) Of course, this is a natural result where all of the
mucous membranes of the whole bronchi area, all of the tubes,
are naturally involved. There are periods when these through
the nasal passages are very much dilated.
Of course, these conditions will be aided by any good
antiseptic, as a spray, or the fumes from the combination of
these properties would be particularly helpful, - or these
may be used as a spray, provided they are clouded into very
fine gas or spray, - or this as an antiseptic and a relaxer.
To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, add - in the order named:
Oil of Eucalyptus.................15 minims,
Compound Tincture of Benzoin......20 minims,
Rectified Oil of Turp..............5 minims,
Tolu in Solution..................30 minims.
Keep the bottle tightly corked; and this would be a container
twice the size of the quantity. Shake the solution well,
remove the cork, and inhale through first one nasal passage
and then the other, holding each nostril when inhaling
through the other, see? This may be best accomplished, of
course, in a container where two vents enter the space above
the solution, but for this particular body the drawing
AGAINST the vacuum created is better.
(Q) Are glands of internal secretion involved?
(A) Every gland is involved, where so much of the lymph and
emunctory circulation is involved, - as in ANY long standing
asthmatic reaction.
(Q) Why do I still feel such a need for the adrenaline
injections?
(A) As indicated, these are naturally habit forming, because
of their activity upon the circulation.
(Q) Any further advice?
(A) Be persistent. Be consistent. Be prayerful, and
thankful.
We are through for the present.

REPORTS
5/19/40 [
2102]'s letter to EC:
..., N.Y.
Dear Mr. Cayce,
Am in receipt of reading - happy to know condition shows
improvement, hoped it would be that way.
I will follow reading very closely, doing my very best to do
just as advised.
Have had very good results from the nasal inhalant. Though
I notice little change in the condition of skin, I must say
there is a marked improvement in the asthma and my body seems
to feel better balanced.
Mr. Cayce, I am so grateful for the help that I am receiving
that I can't help but have faith in God.
Enclosed please find $2. Thank you again for your kindness.
Sincerely yours, [
2102]
5/24/40 EC's letter to [
2102]:
Dear Mrs. [
2102]
Thanks for yours of the 19th - yes glad to know the
information considers you on the improve, and hope you will
keep on in that direction, trust you have long before this
seen improvement in skin - that no doubt is a effect of other
disturbances, and as the general and specific conditions
clear that should also. All thanks and praise to HIM ever.
Let us hear from you for we are quite anxious about you.
Sincerely, [signed] Edgar Cayce
5/27/40 [
2102]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
Yours of the 24th received - shall give you a report. My
condition is about the same with perhaps just a few more
slight attacks of asthma than in my last report to you.
However, I must say that I do feel stronger and more able to
cope with conditions. I am using very little adrenaline and
then only when absolutely necessary. I am so truly anxious
to bring about that, that we seek, that I am doing my very
best to be patient, persistent and consistent in all that I
do.
Concerning my condition, I hope I have been explicit enough
in past reports. Had hoped to attend the forthcoming
convention and possibly had a personal talk with you and
learned more of your wonderful work but due to a financial
change I find this impossible at present.
Trusting that you and Mrs. Cayce have been greatly benefitted
by your trip.
Sincerely yours, [

Dear Mrs. [
2102]
Thanks for yours of the 27th with enclosure. Just hope you
keep the good work up - know you have to exercise a lot of
patience but hope you are convinced you are on the right
path, and need only to hold to same to get lots better and
soon make life really worth living.
Certainly wish you might be with us at the congress - but if
you can't then remember us in your prayers, and know we will
be thinking of you and hoping next time you will be able to
be with us. Thanks very much for your reports and let us
hear from time to time.
Thanking you again

7/03/40 Mrs. [
2102]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
Enclosed please find $3. - am improving steadily, though I
was not very good last week and was confined to bed for a
day; aside from that have been exceptionally well and am
feeling better now, for which I am truly thankful.
Sincerely yours, [

7/05/40 EC's letter to Mrs. [
2102]:
Dear Mrs [
2102]
Thanks for yours of the 3rd with enclosure. Am happy indeed
to know that you are feeling better - just hope you will keep
on until you have over come all the bad effects from a
troublesome disturbance. Of course one can in HIM - while
of ourselves we can do little or nothing.
Thanking you and with all good wishes from all here.
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce
8/22/40 Mrs. [
2102]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
In reporting to you I would like to say that in many ways I
seem to have improved from the treatment. Although I have
had some attacks of asthma and at present do not go twenty
four hours without an attack, however, they have greatly
lessoned in severity and I am much stronger and have
increased eleven pounds in weight but the hives are just as
bad if not worse of late, making me feel very miserable.
Though I have shown such marked improvement in many ways we
feel that I should show more improvement concerning the
hives. What would you suggest, Mr. Cayce, do you advise
continuing just as we have been doing?
Enclosed please find $2. I believe this completes payment
of $20. Won't you please let me know if I am right?
Thank you again for your help and hoping that you are
enjoying a pleasant summer.
Sincerely yours, [
2102]
8/27/40 EC's letter to Mrs. [
2102]:
Dear Mrs. [
2102]
Have yours of the 22nd with enclosure. Thank you - yes this
completes payment for membership.
Sorry to hear you are still having trouble with the hives -
must be something in your diet. Hasn't Dr. Dobbins suggested
something that you leave off - would suggest Mrs. [
2102] that
you go out on the island there some where and get you some
Mullin [Mullein] - you or Mr. [...]. Am sure knew the plant
- think if you will make you a tea of this use some of the
flower say take about two oz - and put in a quart of water,
bruise the leaves or cut them up - and steep like tea. Take
about two oz of the tea each day, think you will get rid of
the trouble.
Hope you continue to improve from the Asthma. No can't get
rid of something that has been with you so long in just a
bit - but should gradually improve all along with care.
Thanking you and let us hear from you.
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce
