2/12/41 Father's ltr. to EC:
Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Arctic Circle,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I am in receipt of your February 5th letter [See under
2345-1
Reports] and assure you I am gratified to learn that Mrs.
Cayce is feeling much better and I do hope that she is fully
recovered by this time.
I am positive that you are most pleased that Hugh Lynn's call
was deferred until June, however, I know how inconvenient it
will prove when June comes along and he will have to leave
you. I realize how much you are depending upon him and how
short handed you will be without him, however, a year passes
away very quickly and he will be back with you again getting
into the work that he has assigned for himself.
I was surprised to learn that your other son was also called,
however let's thank the Lord that at least the boys are being
called during peace time.
I showed Mrs. [
2344] your letter and requested her to contact
Dr. Thomas, requesting him to write you for further
information. I don't think Dr. Thomas is a doubter as he has
a great deal of confidence in your readings. He is the same
man that treated Mrs. [
1389] whose complete recovery was
based on instructions contained in one of your readings with
which he complied. If you fail to hear from him within the
next week or ten days I will appreciate your dropping me a
line.
I hope this letter finds you and family in good health and
with kindest regards, I am
Sincerely yours,
4/07/41 See
2153-9.
