TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions; as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2175].
3. Now as we find, there are conditions which prevent the best normal functioning. These have to do with conditions produced by adhesions through the system. These have not as yet assumed such proportions that they may not be easily eliminated from the system.
4. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2175] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. First, in the blood supply, - this we find at times assumes those activities in which there is quite a variation in the pressures produced through the blood supply. Hence there is quite a variation from time to time as to numbers of the blood cellular forces. We would find at some periods, in most every month, there would be a deficiency in red blood cells, and at others there would be nearer to normal in the red - that is, not a variation - and a lack in the white or the warrior cellular force in the system.
6. Hence we find that this produces an effluvium in the system that is not always easily eliminated, through the various systems of eliminating used energies.
7. Then we have a kind of anemia, what might be called a lack of the blood cellular forces through the system; so that the body becomes "starved" in portions of the functioning organs, rather than the cellular force being so changed.
8. But this effluvium arises from pressures in the nervous system, produced by conditions which arose following childbirth, - or those conditions where the activity of the organs of the pelvis made adherence to the system itself. Hence these conditions in the system arise from the attempts of the body to produce a normal reaction, or adjustment.
9. Thus at times across the small area of the back, or the lumbar and sacral area, we have distresses that bring about - through nerve reaction - a condition in the kidneys themselves that becomes aggravating; though - as yet - this is not an organic condition.
10. This producing of the superacidity, and this effluvium - or this form of coagulation in the flow of the lymph and emunctory circulation, has also caused a condition in the ovary, especially upon the one side, that makes for some anxiety at times.
11. Then, the WHOLE of the nervous reactions arising from these we find producing sympathetic reaction through the organs of the body; especially in the digestive or assimilating system, and the manners in which there is the distribution of that assimilated.
12. Hence we find there are periods when reflexes are caused to the organs of the sensory system, - as a type of headache, a burning of the eyes, a fullness or a tendency in the throat for a continued swallowing, and a dryness in the salivary glands. All of these become a part of this nervous condition, arising from the adhesions in the system and the attempts of the body-functioning to overcome or meet the conditions.
13. As we find, in making for the corrections, all of these should be taken into consideration; and those administrations should be such as to alleviate these distresses and to build in the system those energies as to relieve the tension through the system.
14. First, then:
15. Each evening we would massage over the sacral and lower portion of the lumbar and lower dorsals an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. Also massage this into and across the lower portion of the abdomen, over the area of the ovaries, as well as over the whole of the organs of the pelvic area. Prepare this compound in two solutions, you see; that is, melt the Mutton Tallow and this would be a separate solution, until the others are added. Do not attempt to mix the tallow in its original state, but melt it. Then - while it is not too hot, but before it congeals - add an equal amount of each of the other ingredients, - first the Turpentine, then the Camphor. Then apply heat, as an electric pad, front and back. Use this for at least half an hour to an hour each day, for at least ten days.
16. Also, at least twice or three times during the ten days, use a mild Atomidine douche to clarify or purify the secretions through the pelvic organs. Use only a fountain syringe, you see, not a pressure syringe. The proportions of the Atomidine would be a teaspoonful of the Atomidine, commercial strength, to a quart and a half of water - body-temperature, - at least ninety-six to ninety-eight (96 to 98), see?
17. Then, after ten days of using the rubs and the heat and the douches as indicated, - begin with the osteopathic adjustments, these to be mainly from the 9th dorsal downward. But coordinate the upper portions with the lower treatments given; that is, the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical and about the neck and head, that there may be better drainages set up in the character of treatments given. These are to be stimulating in the upper portion of the system, and RELAXING from the 9th dorsal downward, see?
18. After there have been six such adjustments, leave them off for ten days, - and through that ten day period use the applications as first suggested, - then have another series of the adjustments.
19. Also we would take the thyroid tablets. Let these be given, to be sure, under the supervision of the one making the adjustments through the pelvic areas, as well as the whole administrations - the thyroid itself, you see, or extract.
20. Have plenty of vitamins that make for body and blood building, which as we find will be best obtained - for this body - in the compound known as ADIRON. Take one pellet at each meal. Take these for ten days at a time, then leave off for five, and then take again, and so on.
21. After the second series of the osteopathic adjustments (not before), begin with the lowest form of electrical vibrations as would be had through the Violet Ray. Do not use the bulb applicator but rather the rod applicator as held in the hand, but take it once in the right hand, the next time the left foot; that is, place the anode upon a piece of glass and then set the foot on it. The next time take it in the left hand, the next time the right foot, see? the next time the right hand, the next the left foot, and so on about the body. Do this for three minutes each day for five to six days, leave off for a similar period and then take again.
22. Then, as to the general diets of the body, - throughout the period keep away from fried foods.
23. Have plenty of vegetables, fruits and nuts, - not all at once, to be sure, but a diet well balanced with these from day to day.
24. Use plenty of foods that are of sea food variety. ALL kinds of these should be taken, for there is the need of the iodine in THIS form for the body.
25. In the seasoning of food use the kelp salt, or sea salt, or seaweed salt, see? This for this body is preferable, even to the regular iodized salt. This will make much difference.
26. Of course, we would take fowl and lamb as other meats.
27. Use only a moderate amount of sweets.
28. Plenty of milk and milk products should be a part of the diet, as will agree with the body. Do not overcrowd.
29. Do these, and we will bring bettered conditions for this body, [2175].
30. Ready for questions.
31. (Q) What can I do for soreness in breasts?
    (A) This is a part of the general condition, as combined with pressures upon the glandular forces. As conditions are corrected through the pelvis and through the back, we will find that this will be corrected, especially with the massages that are given with the osteopathic adjustments through those areas about the upper dorsal and cervical areas. DO NOT massage or press the glands about the breast, see?
32. (Q) How can I develop them?
    (A) This would come later, as we make for changes in the general system. For, when we find the general conditions corrected, these may be adjusted better for development.
33. (Q) Is the present clothing alright?
    (A) This is very well, if it is kept not too tight but sufficient for keeping the body plenty warm at all times.
34. (Q) How can I go about making sex relations more pleasant?
    (A) This will come with the correction of those conditions existent that CAUSE disturbance in this direction, see?
35. (Q) What attitude should I hold towards same?
    (A) This should be as a part of the general conditions of mind and body, see? that is, have a perfectly normal body, - then such relationships and such attitudes towards same become the NATURAL conditions and not a forced issue ever.
36. (Q) What causes the shivers over the body at times?
    (A) As just indicated, - in the nervous forces of the body, when the body is attempting to adjust itself to the needs, there is produced in the blood supply what appears to be as a skim or skein, - which naturally produces upon the nerve energies or nerve centers the "jitters" like.
37. (Q) Why has there always been the inability to eat properly?
    (A) Lack of the assimilation. And all of these conditions will be overcome with the stimulating activities in the upper portion of the spinal system, which comes to the digestive forces - and that through the lower portion, or from the 9th dorsal down being a relaxing treatment. These will make for better conditions. But the stomach itself is abnormally small. Naturally it is easily satisfied for the moment, and yet there is not complete satisfaction. Thus, as indicated, the impoverishment or starving of portions of the body, tending to make for contraction. We will see a lot of difference if these suggestions outlined are followed.
38. (Q) Is there danger of varicose veins?
    (A) Only if the impoverishment in the blood stream is allowed to become such as to weaken the walls of the veins themselves. This has not reached such proportions, though at times - because of the activities of the body - pressures are caused in the ileum plexus and along the side of the limbs.
39. (Q) What causes pus pockets and enlarged pores in face?
    (A) Poor eliminations. Thus the character of drainages to be set up through the adjustments from the upper portions of the body, - which means that a better circulation will be established to prevent all such.
As a cleansing cream and the healing properties for the face and neck, use the GENUINE Black and White products. These as we find will purify and give a stimulation and a food value to the pores of the skin itself to assist in the conditions already produced, until the GENERAL health and conditions aid in adjusting same.
40. (Q) What can I do for hearing, teeth, finger nails, etc.?
    (A) As given, a stimulation to the thyroids through the taking of the thyroid extract is to produce an activity in which all of these will be materially aided. This will require a little time; but be patient and persistent, and we will find you will grow in stature as well as in weight and in general bodily health.
41. (Q) What was the cause for the birthmark on left hip?
    (A) Few individuals there are who do not carry a mark of some character or nature. This is a mark from a former experience, from former activities in the earth plane. This may be given better from other sources, or with the directing of the approach through the mental and spiritual developments.
42. (Q) Are the 12 major divisions of the body formed simultaneously, and by what means? [GD's note: She was referring to the [281] series on the glands and the Book of Revelation, which referred to the 12 major divisions of the body.]
    (A) No. These all are growths.
Do as has been outlined, if we would bring the better conditions for this body.
43. We are through for the present.
