This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of July, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [2186], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes - we find the body here, [2186] - kind of out of place, but we find it!
3. As we find, conditions are not good. There continues to be those irritations from the lack of proper carbonization of the blood. While there is not what might be called so active a tubercle in the lungs, the general weakness and the indications towards anemia - though not wholly pernicious at this time - with the lack of the structural bone and sufficient of the calcium and supply of acids for the digestion in its proper relationships - continue to prevent the body from body-building.
4. We would keep rather to those things that have been indicated, but be a little bit more consistent. Don't take it and then leave it off a while, and then take it for a little while. Either do it or don't - and do something else!
5. These as we find we would take:
6. Take the Acigest with the raw milk. This is obtainable - get it! if you would improve!
7. Also take the Calcios, and take it regularly, as indicated.
8. Keep away from those foods that have acetic acid (or vinegar) in same.
9. Do use a great deal of sea foods and chicken, and especially the bony pieces. Cook it like you would chicken and dumplings, but don't eat the dumplings - feed these to the dogs! Eat the bony pieces - and the greases of same are good for the body.
10. Eat raw vegetables, and especially carrots.
11. Have plenty of beets and beet tops in the diet. Do eat these.
12. And if we will keep these consistently, we will find better conditions for the body.

14. (Q) What else can I do to improve my digestion?
    (A) Do these things indicated CORRECTLY, and eat the things indicated, keeping away from those that sour!
15. (Q) What causes so much unrest in the intestines?
    (A) As just indicated, this is from those foods that carry the wrong character of acid and not sufficient acids for proper digestion. The foods not digested naturally cause fermentation of the character or nature as to cause gas in the intestines.
16. (Q) Does this also cause the nausea and dizziness?
    (A) This causes nausea and dizziness; causes disturbed circulation, though the dizziness and nausea is rather a condition in itself - while the tendency for the inactivity of digestion produced by those things indicated. The conditions existent cause the poor circulation, which makes for the dizziness, the nausea.
17. (Q) What is condition of the organs of the chest cavity?
    (A) As indicated, while not so active a tubercle, there is not the proper carbonization, or oxidization, of the blood supply. We may only obtain same by those things as indicated for this body.
    The body should use the Brandy Keg also. This will help heal the lungs - the inhaling of the Apple Brandy Fumes.
18. (Q) What causes the sharp pain that persists under the left shoulder?
    (A) Pressure of nerve force by the lack of blood circulation. Do use the Brandy inhalations, as indicated for such conditions. But use this, too, consistently. The use of same a few days and then left off a few days, or take one day and left off two, or taken two days and left off three, isn't any good! Either do it or don't!
