This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of April, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [2192], via Mr. [287].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Hugh Lynn Cayce.

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are some specific abnormal conditions, and the effect of same are latent and apparent in the physical functioning of the body in the present condition, though we find the body very good in many respects, there are those conditions that, were they corrected, would bring the more normal, the better functioning, the better conditions, for the physical and spiritual welfare of this body.
3. Now, these are the conditions, then, as we find them in this body, [2192], we are speaking of. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find above the normal in its pressure, produced by conditions existent in specific functionings of various portions of the body. While this has not reached that stage at present where the distress is so great, the corrections for same should be made, that the more normal function would occur, or concur, with corrections. The drosses as left in the system at present cause the greatest distress. These are from the same troubles, and are left by the blood in its circulation through the organs that produce elimination, or through those channels of elimination in cuticle, liver, and in kidneys.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find those conditions that at times bring distress to the body physical - that is, those physical conditions exist in same that, with a taxation to the sensory nerve system, produce those distressing reactions as are seen at times throughout the body, for any excitement above the normal brings such distress as to out balance, or over balance, many of the functioning organs, especially digestion and the kidneys. These being affected, then, more in the existent abnormal condition.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, all organs of the sensory system show an accentuation, or the lack of activity in their functioning through the distresses.
7. Bronchials, throat, lungs, larynx, good.
8. Digestion, and the line about the diaphragm, shows the effect of the condition as produced in times back that caused the greater distress to the system.
9. The organs involved then most being the pancreas, liver and kidneys. Spleen showing the effect of the nerve reaction. The liver torpid in action, yet at times over-active in the secretive, and lack of excretory functioning. The kidneys show the strain produced on same, as does the liver, through the blood pressure and the condition as exists in same.
10. The rest of the system under various stresses, shows the various conditions as are produced, as is seen by the feet, by the limbs, by the condition as exists over the body.
11. Then, to bring the more normal condition, and to bring about the perfect functioning of the organs of the system, we would apply as this: Take this first:
    To 1/2 gallon of rain water, add 6 ounces of Garden Sage, dried. Reduce to one half the quantity. Strain while warm and add:
    4 ounces Beet Sugar, dissolved in 1 ounce of hot water - distilled water preferred. 15 grains Ambergris, dissolved in 1 ounce grain alcohol - preferably the gray. 1 dram Cinnamon, preferably in the stick, should be placed in solution. 4 ounces of Gin.
12. Shake solution well to-gether. The dose should be taken half an hour before each meal, and a tablespoonful would be a dose.
13. Correct, by vibration, the condition in the cerebro-spinal system, especially that along the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th dorsal - especially that portion of the body, using the electrically driven vibrator, with the hard portion of same, for ten to fifteen minutes each day, just so it is taken regularly and at a specific time. The body should rest after same. Hence would be WELL were it taken just before retiring.
14. After these properties (medicinal properties) have been taken in the system, the body should have those applications of the Rino or Alpine rays, the whole length of the spine, for at least three to five minutes each day, for sixty days. This, as we see, will CLARIFY the blood in its extremities, relieve the condition as is seen in the organs of the system, and reduce the body in the way and manner that the better functioning may ensue.

1. 4/27/26 Mr. [287]'s letter: "Also note by your letters that you are having plenty of work and I am glad for that. I only wish people would pay you as they should. One party from here, a Jewess, living at the ... hotel, showed me your diagnosis about three weeks ago. She is plenty able to pay you if she will. She said it was just her condition exactly."
