5/18/26 EC's ltr. to Mr. [
2201]:
Mr. [
2201]
Denver, Colorado
Dear Mr. [
2201]
Replying to yours just received, will say I do not understand
just how this run is figured, for I know nothing whatever
concerning ores or metals. All I can give you is the
information as is obtained in the readings. As to how it
can figure the width of the vein at a hundred and ninety-one
feet, I suppose it is done in the same way that it tells a
stratum of lime or shale three to five thousand feet deep.
This we know has been done many, many, times over and again.
As to the contribution, as no doubt you know, we do not make
a charge for our work, but people contribute according to
their abilities. I am only able to make two of these in one
day. It requires the services of three people. We depend
entirely upon contributions for the upkeep. Had I known,
however, that you did not know any more concerning the work
than you apparently do, from your letter, I don't think that
I would have undertaken this, for we have too many requests
for physical readings to spare the time, unless it is one
who is VITALLY interested and one who is heartily in accord
with the work we are trying to do - not one just seeking
speculative information. The last letter from your wife -
she was so insistent concerning same, was why we took it up
as we did. We certainly hope that this will prove of worth
to you.
With kindest personal regards,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce [EC:GD]
