GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

Yes, we have the body here, [2204].
As we find, there are specific conditions which hinder or prevent the better normal physical reactions.
These as we find have to do with the structural portions of the body, and the effect the disturbances which exist have upon the system.
Then, these are conditions as we find them here with this body, [2204]:
There has existed not an abnormal but an unusual condition pertaining to the position of the pelvic bones as related to the limbs. These were in order, however, until there was an injury to the pelvic bone itself.
This has allowed at times a seepage and a strain upon the area, until - with the system's attempt to pad the area with flesh, as it were - there is still greater disturbance in attempting locomotion, with the weight increased, or with pressure being put upon the limbs as related to pelvic axis activity.
This seepage or inflammation in structural portions causes in the extremities, through the lymph circulation, a tingling or trembling akin to what might be called tic; owing to pressures upon nerves from the lateral axis to locomotion, - to the hands as well as the lower limbs.
As we find, the position should first be determined - as to its extent - by a shadowgraph or X-Ray.
This - the X-Ray - will of ITSELF be helpful to the condition.
Then, we would correct the position either through operative measures or by putting same in a cast (with proper adjustments being made).
And with the body-activities through the assimilation we would have more calcium, to aid in stimulating circulation as well as the assimilating forces to carry more of the structural influences to areas that indicate the disturbing condition. We would take these properties in the form of CALCIOS; about the quantity on the point of a knife that would cover a small cracker, - this amount taken once each day.
It would require that the body remain in the cast at least two to three weeks, but during that time there should be the massages (above the areas where the cast is put, of course) to keep the circulation in a normal manner.
When the casts are taken from the body, we would - at least three times each week - massage in the saral and lumbar area, as well as the sciatic nerve ends, all that the body will absorb of an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor (the proportions being, say, a tablespoonful of each). After such a massage sponge off the body with a good cleansing fluid, - either water or alcohol - to close the pores - would be well.
To reduce the tendencies for the system's attempting to increase avoirdupois for the general fixture forces of the body itself, - we would use the Grape Juice Diet.
Take two ounces of Grape Juice in one ounce of plain water (not carbonated water) four times each day, half an hour before meals and at bedtime. Unless the juice from fresh grapes is used, the Welch's Grape Juice is preferable.
Eat normally. Of course, keep away from large quantities of sugars or pastry or the like.
Doing these, we will find bettered conditions for the body.

(Q) Should the operation be a surgical one, or an osteopathic adjustment?
(A) Not necessarily operative forces used here, but merely the X-Ray to determine how and where the adjustments would be made, see? so that the cast would hold the body in the position for the time that it would take for the extra calcium properties to produce the proper cartilage formations for holding the correct position.
(Q) The condition of bloating?
(A) All of these effects come from this same disturbance, you see.
Of course, with the inactivity, it will be necessary to increase the eliminations not only with the diet but by the cleansing of the colon through irrigations to reduce the inclination for the gas forming in the colon and through the intestinal tract.
But with the reduction in the diet and the change with the adding of these properties indicated, we should bring about much bettered conditions in this direction also.
(Q) Have you suggestions as to which doctor, and where, would be best?
(A) These conditions should be handled through the one closely connected or associated with the entity or body.

Dear Mrs. [2204]:
Thank you very much for the beautiful birthday card you sent me. It was very much appreciated, and it proved indeed a day. I had many presents, from maneuer to flowers, - very beautiful ones and some are still living and just as nice as can be.
Yes indeed I have read your enclosure telling about Mr. Cayce and I approve. Go to it, - because a longer leg to my mind is not the case because you had no pain before the fall. Your pains and distress came after the fall and injury; therefore, I rule out the long leg. Though we never know, I might be mistaken and it is better to admit a mistake than to have failed at all due to narrowness or short sightedness.
We must accept everything that is good in nature as well as in this great universe which God has given us, and if power is given to one, we should respect it as a gift of God and accept it.
Do write him and ask for the diagnosis. Perhaps he can help you and me in another way that we are not cognizant of.

Dear Mr. Cayce:-
First let me thank you for the privilege and pleasure of hearing, seeing and greeting you at the Hotel McAlpin. I have heard of your great works during past years but always hesitated to ask for help for myself because I always feel there are many others more in need than I. However after hearing you refer to the "little-folks" who were my only companions as a child, living on a farm outside of Chicago; I somehow felt I had found someone who could understand my little difficulties. Four years ago we moved here from Chicago because of my husband's work. On January 10th, 1938 I suffered a fall, nothing to show for it except three small black and blue spots on my left hip, (where I landed) just as though touched by three fingers. I was practically paralyzed but with a daily massage managed at the end of three weeks to hobble around on crutches. Then followed a period of cane and force of will to regain the locomotion in the left leg. After three months I succeeded in getting out of the house but was terribly lame. Then I found a good Osteopath; (Dr. Elsa M. Tieke, 275 Washington Ave., Brklyn.). With her help much correction has been accomplished; however there is still impingement in the left hip and at times much pain.
I come for help because the fall seems to have aggravated a condition of bloating which I have had as long as I can remember, and because Dr. Tieke becomes at times rather discouraged because she has done just about everything possible and cannot achieve desired results. In addition, my weight is constantly increasing; have added 15 "undesirable" pounds in the past two years, and this increase in weight troubles D.O., more than anything else it seems.
Recently congestion seems to be centered in the nose also and - "I smell bad" - for this we are using tampon injections of a 20% solution of Argyrole.
The astral realm is no strange land to me, I have enjoyed many journeys myself, but cannot use my "powers" for self because way down deep somewhere something always tells me not to. However in crisis information always comes thru very definitely to and for me when I need it. Probably that is why I do not want to reach for it. I may reach for something I am not as yet entitled to. However I have been able to help others and am grateful for that privilege too.
Just to avoid a "long story" I will, if you do not mind just turn over this sheet and add that enclosed is my check for $20. For years funds, or rather lack of them was my real handicap, however things improve with time and at present I feel I would rather use this enclosure for the reading than for X-ray pictures which may not show "anything".
Referring to the application, I have left the "Date" blank, however if you can arrange time for me any day except Monday or Friday, (and I hope you go fishing after Church on Sunday), in the morning, as soon as possible, after the New Moon on May 7th, May 9th, Thursday, with Moon in Gemini looks like a good day. However I leave the selection of time to you because you may be unusually busy since the New York meeting as such things bring in much mail for a time.

There is nothing further to add in the way of questions. For the purpose of clarification however it might be well if I repeat that diagnosis and correction are desired for the
Impediment in the area of the left hip.
The condition of bloat.
The constant increase of weight.
The "jerks" in the joints of the right big toe and right thumb, which at times become painful.

Thank you for the letter. Prayer is the one and only thing potent enough to bring about the necessary and desired results. Personally I use 21 minutes to Noon Daily for the purpose but in the case of such a large group - we, I believe should each have a copy or special form of procedure to gain power as rapidly as possible.
