This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, this 15th day of August, 1911.

1. LBC: You have before you [2212], ..., Tenn.
2. EC: Yes, we have her here. We have had her before.
3. I want you to go over her carefully, examine her thoroughly and tell us what her condition is now.
4. The condition is not much different from what we had before. A little bit in growth, a little bit in strength, but the over-development of the abnormal conditions here in the head and throat, along the spine, is about the same as we had before. The effect of the afferent nerve force as supplying to that of the forces here of the Medulla Oblongata, first and second cervical forces here, those to the back portion of the brain are still carrying the force through the same effect with that through the thyroid glands here. The over-nourishment to this through the forces here from the third and second dorsal; that is, supplying forces through these.
5. About the same conditions exist through the stomach, the supplying force to the blood force, except the effect of more of the leukocytes carried into the system, producing more of the wall and thickening of the tissue through that of the thyroid. Also that of the brain lesions we have had here along in the upper portion, above the medulla oblongata. The same condition exists from what the first condition, of the forces through that of the thyroid produced the condition we have through that of the inability - to the effect to that of the vocal chords in the body here; that is, the larynx.
6. (Q) How about the trouble at the second cervical?
   (A) Not much improvement from that. You see, the forces applied here from the first and second cervical, as those with supplying to the blood force along with the nerve and muscular tissues that branch from these dorsals here, supplying to the base of the brain, or the cerebellum here. This carrying or forcing too much of the blood there produces this effect of the enlarging of the tissue in itself without the use of the force, or breaking up of the cells in the brain to produce the mind. Brain without being broken up is not worth much to the body; leaves water, or holes here, as it is expressed in the material, and this matter is incapable of being used without expression through the sensory system: that is, we build too much for its purpose, as shown through the stomach trouble here, or that in the action through the splenic force in the system; that is,
   Lesions formed in this body from the first and second cervical, third lumbar, third dorsal, to its supplying blood to the head and sensory organism in the head, to the eyes, throat, ears and power of thought.
7. (Q) Is that the same trouble that is affecting the thyroid glands?
   (A) No, that comes from the lesion below. The same trouble you see, in its effect on to the conditions. You see, we have here the first and second cervical force applies to the facial, head; the first and second dorsal apply to the larynx, thyroid, with the inferior muscles, and the sympathetic forces, through the thyroid to the larynx. This condition is produced from the second and third dorsal, you see.
8. (Q) What other conditions do you find?
   (A) These are the conditions as we have had. The treatment of the condition as we have in the body at present would be through the forces applied to the powers in the circulation by the manipulation of the spine, by using these as the forces to relax the muscular, wherewith it is carried in action with those of the nerve and blood supply, and eliminated from the thyroid, brain forces and cervicals, carried off from the eliminating properties through the liver. That is, we have here dross taken up from the nerve, that is, used matter in nerve destruction of the blood in its cells, used up or carried back and forth through the arteries and veins until we have produced some of the forces carried out by these, are destroyed through the forces or the action of the liver, of the secretion and excretion forces it carries. The manipulation in this to carry the secretion by absorption would better the condition as we have it here, the impression over the mind forces to act through the electrical forces applied as we have seen before, those carried into the intestines themselves and through the action of the splenic forces and liver, as we have had before.
   The development of the body should be through that of nature - to assist it, you see. That that goes in conjunction, not direct opposition to the system. That is, no secreting organ in the system should be excited above the force that is eliminated by this condition existing in the body: that is, when we eliminate by the treatment along the spine with the hands, as with the osteopath, by the manipulation, is carried to the eliminating through that of the liver, or the juices of the stomach here should not be excited to excess, else we create a reverse force in the system. The electric force is applied to the force to keep in unison with that of the relaxed condition of the muscular force, to build up the nerve force, to keep it in unison.
9. (Q) Would you still prescribe the increase of the oxygen into the system?
   (A) The same as we have before, here you see. We are eliminating more through these powers, you see, taking in more oxygen by nature. Keep out in the air. Keep that into the system that is easy of digestion, not restraining to that of any of the forces through that of the digestive system; that which will act through the intestinal digestion as well as through the stomach and pancreatic; or that which will produce no congestion through the alimentary canal.
10. (Q) Any other treatment that you would suggest for the present?
    (A) Keep these along here until we get these conditions removed. Keep on with the eliminating, of course, until we remove these conditions. Stop it when we get a balance. If you don't you will produce a big body and no head.
