Mr. Edgar Cayce,
14th St.,
Virginia Beach, Va.,
Dear Mr. Cayce,
Referring to yours of the 26th, when we were down to see you,
you gave us a good verbal description of the Radio-Active,
describing the two metal bars and the two glass plates and
carbon or charcoal put into a metal container and then put
into another vessel with ice in it.
I did not try to memorize it at the time but wish I had done
so now. So give me this just as described when there,
please.
The price of the Radio-active runs the whole thing into right
much money, after paying for the trip down there, the
readings and the osteopathic treatments.
My back feels better from the treatments Osteopathic.
Now Mrs. [...] has another son who is rather good on electric
appliances, in fact, he made the machine you recommended for
[
2161] so we got him to work on the Radio-Active. [
2161]'s
worked fine.
I am going to give you a sketch of what he made and ask you
to tell us just where we are wrong, for the machine the way
he made it made me more nervous rather than to quiet me and
soothe me.
He got a crock 11" tall inside and 8" Diameter inside. Then
he got a tin can 10" tall and 6-1/2" in Dia.
He filled it with charcoal, which is carbon. Then he put the
two metal bars with glass attached to them, down into the
charcoal - separated, so as not to touch each other nor to
touch the sides.
The charcoal was in large pieces. Should it have been
pulverized?
The wires were run through the top of the tin can and silver
dollars were attached to the end of each wire to fasten on to
the arm and leg. These made the silver plates.
If this procedure is wrong, please tell us the right way.
Please read this carefully and answer each question
thoroughly, as I am anxious to get this Radio-Active working
correctly.
I have got to pay everything I possibly can, to those I owe,
as quickly as possible, which would in itself, help to ease
the tension on me. It is my moral obligation and everything
taken away from that, delays the whole game that much. Am
sure you see the point.
I could do lots of things and let those I owe, go to Hector
but that is not my way of doing things.
Thanking you for any further help you can give me, I am
Yours very truly. [

Dear Mr. [
2273]
Have yours of the 30th - wish you had told me you wished to
try and have the appliance made, would have tried to do
better with a description of same. But Mr [...] [[
2161]'s
brother] will find this is a bit of a complicated appliance -
but this is it. As to the length of the Carbon-steel used
doesn't matter - just so as can be put in can.
Two pieces of glass 1/2 inch wide and 5 inches long. Put
glass together then two (2) pieces of steel - 60% carbon,
half in [inch?] wide - 5 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Put
connections in one end of the steel bars to connect wires to
- cover these with Stick carbon - two pieces will be 1 1/2
inches wide the other 1 inch wide and 5 inches long - 1/2
inch thick. Bind this together with tape - not put in can so
the end of steel connections can have wire attached to them -
fill and pack this in can with Willow charcoal - powdered.
Seal top with wax or ruberroid. The plates on end of wire is
to be of nickle - not silver. Believe you will find it
cheaper to buy - and have made right but try it if you wish
for know the Co. that makes them doesn't make a thing unless
they can buy the material at wholesale in large quantities.
Wouldn't try this unless made right - some may tell you such
can't hurt - but if can do any good can do harm as you
doubtless have found when receiving wrong vibrations.
Hope you are better. With sincere regards to you and yours
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce
