(Q) Regarding my health, and the arthritis condition, is it
indicated as to what I should do for relief?
(A) Keep down the acids in the system. Keep away from too
much flesh in the diet; having more of NATURE'S foods; as
carrot, spinach and celery juices, as well as these in bulk
for food.
Use weekly Epsom Salts Baths; having the saturated solution
of Epsom Salts, not too hot but sufficiently warm to produce
a perspiration, or an increase of eliminations through the
respiratory and perspiratory system. Let such a Bath be
followed by a tepid or warm bath, and then a rubdown over the
entire body with an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut
Oil.
This will alleviate, and bring about bettered conditions.
(Q) As I name them, please tell me what I should do to help
the following individuals. First, my son, [
2284].
(A) As it has been given of old, train him that is young in
the ways of the Lord, and when he is old he will not depart
from them.
Counsel well with him, - this will be better than too much
indulgence or too much of words. But in patience preserve
thy hopes; and let thy prayer be, "Thy way, O Lord!"
(Q) My grandsons [...] and [...]. Is it indicated as to
whether they will have to go to war? What is the best thing
for me to do to help them?
(A) They will not HAVE to go to war, unless they choose to
do so.
As we find, these are quite different in their temperament.
One by precept, the other by example, may be brought to the
better understanding as to their places, their activities.
Teach them, train them, in self-reliance; but that reliance
most in the God-force within each.
(Q) My young granddaughter, [...]?
(A) Give HER a musical education!
(Q) The little girl, Mimi [...] in whom I am interested?
(A) Aid in the developing of those unusual talents, those
unusual abilities; through arousing within of its latent
powers.
For in this entity, as in each and every soul, there must be
the answer to that something within. For, as His promise has
been, "I will meet thee in thy holy temple."
Then, encourage that entity to consider the body indeed as
the temple of the living God, and there to meet him often.
(Q) My niece, [C...] in the American Volunteer Service
abroad? Is it indicated that she will return safely?
(A) With the marks of the fray, yes.
(Q) My niece [E...]. Should she have a Physical Rdg.?
(A) For those hindrances in the structural forces, yes.
(Q) My niece [H...]. Should she marry again? and how may
she be helped financially?
(A) As we find here, these conditions within themselves
offer problems. Best that this be understood from the karmic
conditions, as well as the manner in which she has used her
abilities through the sojourns in the earth.
(Q) Am I doing my best for all of these individuals about
whom I am so worried, or what else should I do?
(A) As has been given from the first, keep that faith, keep
that patience that ye have had to learn so oft. Put them not
upon thine own heart so much, but share thy burden rather
with Him who is able, and who has given, "Take my yoke, and I
will make it easy, and thy burden light." For in Him is
there help, strength, understanding, knowledge.
Walk and talk with Him oft.
We are through for the present.
