This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of January, 1941, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [2184], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Hugh Lynn Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Margaret Wilkins and Ruby Ellington.

1. HLC: You will answer the questions regarding this body, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2289]; this we have had before.
3. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) What is the condition at present?
   (A) Some congestion from cold, not enough vegetable forces for the diet, and the impoverishment then through the digestive forces, and the general upsetting that arises from same.
5. (Q) What is right treatment now for the body?
   (A) Keep the cold in that way of being gradually eliminated from the system, of course; gradually supplying a little bit more every day of the various forms of vegetables to the diet, as well as the milk and the cereals.
6. (Q) Should the milk formula be changed?
   (A) Not at present.
7. (Q) Can Gerber's foods be given now?
   (A) Read what has just been indicated. We would always use Gerber's foods, - all of them.
8. (Q) Should Cod Liver Oil be given, and how often?
   (A) As we find, for this body the Halibut Oil with Viosterol is preferable to the Cod Liver Oil. Give it about twice a week, and the dosage as stipulated by the producers of same for this age.
9. (Q) Can citrus fruits be taken?
   (A) A little bit of orange juice may be tried, but this will have to be very little - if it is to be properly assimilated.
10. (Q) Is there any special treatment for the cold and congestion at present?
    (A) The rubs with the equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor; also Camphorated Oil at times. And keep the fumes in the room from boiling about five drops each of Oil of Eucalyptus and Compound Tincture of Benzoin in a croup cup, or in an open cup of water - or that much at a time, see?
11. (Q) Any other suggestions at this time?
    (A) Do these; and do not overfeed, but watch the eliminations. When necessary use either the Castoria in small doses, or the enemas, for better eliminations.
